MEDICAL ALERT!

When my grandmother, Lola Viating was yet hospitalized, she would wake up and go to the washroom all by herself when nobody is looking. Thank God she did not fall or slip but moving around like that still had a bad impact on her. She was advised total rest, you see. So, we have decided to watch over her 24/7, all of us cousins. We came in twos and attended to her without ever being tempted to sleep.. or did we? Hahaha.. well, that's why we had to go there in twos. If one sleeps, the other should be awake. At that time, I have not heard of the Medical Alert system which was developed for the sole purpose that elderly people can be helped 24/7 in terms of fall or other emergencies. In the hospital, patients have buttons to push during emergencies. But sometimes, they are unable to remember to push the said emergency button. So they end up in bad shape. Sometimes also, patients with Alzheimer's disease do not really know what they are doing or where they are going so gadgets are developed for purposes of tracking them down and take them home. Pretty interesting right? It would have benefited Lola Viating if we have known that such gadgets exists. Anyway, she lived 75 glorious years, and spent the best times with us. We have learned so much from her and we know we are loved by her.

Anyway, too late maybe for our grandma, but maybe not for yours. Do visit the site I visited, http://www.brickhousealert.com and learn more about the products I saw there. (Copy and paste this at the address bar. )

TOO YOUNG TO BE EMPOWERED?

READ MY SHIRT PLEASE!!

Electrician Please...

An electrician in Balulang is hard to find. Especially now that many of them have moved away to work in other countries. Manong Pido, our father's electrician friend is now in Guam and works as electrician there. Now that I need one for the orange house, I don't know who to call. If you ask around, their answer would always be the same.. No more electricians in Balulang. Hmm.. If electricians were as like rice, and there is an electrician shortage similar to a rice shortage, then I think all we will ever need is an electrician import..lol... kinda like asking a Houston Electrician to come and do the job for you who lives in Balulang... lol...

Seriously though, I think that scenario is true to all skilled and non skilled workers in the land. We lose them because there isn't much to keep them here in the country. Good workers need to feed their families and send their kids to school. So, they are most likely to leave, join a company outside the country and work there. Sad but true...

Anyway, I was not kidding about the Houston electrician I mentioned earlier. See, I always think and type. Just so happened that with my search for electricians, Mr. Google gave me the link that inspired me to write this post.. Oh please.. dear God, send me an electrician here in Balulang... Amen...

Cress Ferriera's official website: 33 YO MOM Going GAGA...

Have you visited Cress Ferriera's official website? I have. And I am happy to say that I did enjoy my stay there. After a long day, why not take the time off to browse... do visit the site... The page loads easily so it would not really be a problem... You will enjoy videos and more stuff from Cress...

Darn, is a thirty three year old now a fan of this lad? You betcha... hahaha.. he's cute...

JUNK DISPOSAL

Lately, the subdivision has a problem with Junk Hauling. The garbage truck that roams the village has not come for three weeks now. It is indeed a very big problem mainly because there are many houses with junk in the homes that needed to be disposed. Junk removal should be done regularly. Unfortunately, junk removal in Balulang is far too different from Junk Removal in San Diego. Like what I said, the regular garbage truck has not come to pick up our garbage. What are we to do? Should we wait until Demolition Companies issue a job order to have said garbage removed? But that's not how it works here in the Philippines... Ugh!!!

Anyway, my household have done an alternative. We have burned garbage and buried those that will decay. Making a compost is said to be a healthy alternative for the soil and the plants' benefit. Oh and the good thing also, we were able to sell those recyclable ones.. Plastic and bottles do have a meager value but at least we got rid of our junk...

Now, even if this issue was resolved on our end, I still think that the local government should do something about the matter. Won't you agree?

Oratio Imperata for Swine Flu

I got this from my email...

Dear PWHS Members:

We want to share a prayer asking God for ?protection against the swine flu?. This prayer was composed by the Rev Fr Genardo Diwa, head of the Manila archdiocese?s Ministry on Liturgical Affairs.

Oratio Imperata for Swine Flu

God, Our loving Father we come to you in our need to ask your protection against the Swine flu that has claimed the lives of many in Mexico and has affected many more not only there but in other countries as well.

We ask for your grace for the people tasked with studying the nature and cause of this disease and of stemming the tide of its transmission. Guide the hands and minds of medical experts that they may minister to the sick with competence and compassion, and of those in government and private agencies that must find cure and solution to this disease.

We pray for those afflicted, may they all be restored to health soon.

Grant us the grace always to be filled with hope that you watch over us with love and providence and that your will for us is always good.

We make our prayer through our Lord Jesus Christ your son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen
Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us.Saint Lorenzo Ruiz, pray for us.Saint Roque, pray for us.

God bless you all!

MUCH ADO ABOUT ROOFS

With the rains this summer, I do not really know how to save the roof at the orange house. See, the changing weather condition from drastic heat to downpours in the afternoons may worsen the condition of our roof. Ugh! The budget has not been allocated for it repair, and I am thinking, it may worsen because of the rain. I have already done a major breakthrough by assigning a roofer to change the plain sheet so as to avoid the dripping corners untouched by the previous tenant. Had it been taken cared of sooner, it would not have worsened. But anyway, there is no use crying over spilled milk now. I just need a roofer that will really do their job well. Online I searched and found that Kansas City Roofers are good in their job. Oh, but I am very far from them so I might just as well contact the one available locally. The previous roofer had not shown his face after I called them and told them that the dripping corner has not withstood the recent down pours.. I am disappointed with them because they are expensive and did not keep their promise. I guess if they had delivered their jobs well, like the roofers at www.kansascityroofer.org, then I wouldn't be writing this post... Well, I guess I need to work my fingers now and search for new roofers in my area... Lucky for you guys there at Kansas, you know where to go already...

PICTURES DURING RIVER'S BIRTHDAY

This is really funny. Sweet and Lili were the ones who had lots of pictures during River's dinner party. lol...

WANT TO BUY A HOME IN TAMPA?

If so, then read this post very well. Hehehe... I am about to tell you a life and death secret... lol... Kidding aside, I read that from the website I visited that Tampa Realtors are the best. Hmmm, I do not have any personal experience with this as I was never a client. However, the website I visited have convinced me otherwise. All the testimonials by happy clients are there to disprove any doubt. Also, the site provides so much information about acquiring real property. And although they are for Tampa, I was able to pick up a thought or two about finding a good location to build a house or a commercial space for your business to thrive. These are valuable lessons indeed. Some lesson that I could use sooner or later.
I am learning a lot as I continue to go through every page. Which reminds me, if and when I get the position I am eyeing for at MOGCHS, I will also be including in my checklist the possibility of owning our own house. At least Lili and I would then be able to live in a home I could be proud to acquire.
Acquiring some property with your own money through hard work and honest labor is something to be proud of.

WHAT'S YOUR INTERPRETATION OF THIS DREAM?

It was weird. He was smiling. I just gave birth. It was like he was the one who let the baby out. I could still see the umbilical cord... It was long and uncut yet, but he, with the baby in his arms, wiping and cleaning the baby up, stood far across...must be very long the umbilical cord then huh? lol... Anyway, while doing the cleaning up, he was smiling. His eyes happy and twinkling as if he anticipated the birth. Then another setting flashed and a woman was complaining... She said that he paid for everything that needed to be paid, but he is nowhere to be found... I woke up because I needed to pee....

This never happened in real life...

Anyway, in Gestalt Therapy, interpreting this dream would mean that there is a new beginning, as signified by birth. A new beginning that will make him happy as can be drawn from the smiling face with matching twinkling eyes...Then someone took the baby and he was now erasing his name that was plastered on the wall. Kinda like a sticker of some sort that is scratched and needs replacement...And he was happy doing it too... But the next scene which is a complete opposite of all that is something I can not really interpret, even using the psychoanalytic approach... Pardon me for such terms but they are just what I can remember from the Dream Analysis and Dream Interpretation Workshops we had back in my Psychology Days...

What does it mean then? Could it be that I am also referring to our case? That he will be acquitted and enjoy a better life rather than the expected outcome? Or is it a sign that he will be escaping his responsibilities as well as escape the punishment by moving away without a trace?

WICCAN CHAT

Previously, I posted about paganism. Now, here's a similar practice that I wish to tackle in this post. See, I have been studying Wicca for two years now, and I know how different it is with Paganism. Although, it is said to have sprung from paganism. So, with the study, I have begun searching for like minded individuals to share some knowledge about Wicca, until I came upon a wiccan chat site where I met all the great persons to know. They are carefree and honest, and likes ti live life in the simple sense. And what I specifically like is that in the wiccan chat rooms I visit with them, I feel I have gained so much about the secrets of the world. Ha! Believe me, I do not mean to exaggerate but some lessons are as simple and profound, and they are simply staring at our faces each day waiting for us to grasp them. Signing up in the free wiccan chat rooms made me realize that people in the world, regardless of religion or belief, are the same.

So what is Wicca? Wicca is a pagan worship to the Goddess... It's a very good religion with positive vibes. Many, who do not know Wicca, will automatically say that it is a Satanic religion. Which is way far from the truth.. Satan exists only in the vocabulary of Christians and the like... Why study Wicca when I am a Christian and a believer of the Almighty God. I study because I want to know. Period. End of story. I am not the kind of person who discriminates. I was even a student of Buddhism once... What I gained? Knowledge and understanding... And i owe this to those people I met in chat...

CINCO DE MAYO

Cinco De Mayo, or The 5th Of May, is a holiday that commemorates the victory of the Mexicans over the French army at The Battle Of Puebla in 1862. It is primarily a regional holiday celebrated in the Mexican state capital city of Puebla and throughout the state of Puebla, but it is also celebrated in other parts of the United States and in U.S. cities with a significant Mexican population. Contrary to what many people think, it is not Mexico's Independence Day, which is actually celebrated every September 16.
With the current health situation brought about by Swine Flu, I hope it will still be a happy celebration for most Mexicans and those with Mexican descent.

PAGAN CHAT

Have you ever spoken with a person practising paganism? If not, then I challenge you to join a

pagan chat site to meet one. A person practising paganism is more like found in pagan chat rooms for the very reason that most of the people in the room have a common point of view. Although, there may be different forms of practise, paganism is one in the same in the belief in the mystical and magical aspects of life. The divine is always depicted in the everyday scene, and healing can be done by some special rituals. Being in pagan chat rooms gives definition to each one's identity. What do I mean by this? Well, As I joined other pagans in the free pagan chat rooms, I find that all countries all over the world have a history of pagan worship. Good for others that they are able to preserve their culture and tradition as depicted by their specific pagan rituals. It is only when colonizers came that new religions were introduced. In the case of the Philippines, Christianity was introduced when the Spaniards came. But Islam was also introduced in the other parts of the country. Protestantism came when the Americans came. And of course, many others followed. Little by little, pagan worship was left with the tribal communities. But even the tribal groups have also been influenced by missionaries who frequent their dwellings. Even the pagan rituals are now influenced by the new religion that tries to break into the culture of the tribal community. If you ask me, paganism is a soulful way of exploring our culture and traditions. With the chat rooms that pagans frequent in, there is a constant discussion and exchange of practises and knowledge that has been passed on from generation after generation...

Pacquiao vs. Hatton Boxing Fight Results

Manny Pacquiao won over Ricky Hatton in the boxing fight that united all Filipinos again. As expected, Filipino boxer Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao knocked down Ricky Hatton twice in the first round. Pacquiao's miraculous fast hand worked wonders for him again. Manny Pacquiao knocked out Ricky Hatton in 2 minutes 59 seconds of the second round. And as Coach Freddie Roach predicted, the fight won't last round 3... Well, it ended in round 2....

Congratulations to the new IBO light welterweight world champion, Manny Pacquiao! The Filipinos are proud of you!

DO YOU LIKE TATTOOS?

If you do, maybe you should sign up for a free tattoo chat site that houses all the artistic persons in the world. Tattooed or not, you are welcome to join. In the site you are assured of meeting good natured individuals who have a passion for the art of tattoo. Perhaps, if you plan to have a tattoo on any part of your body, you can ask your would be friends for some advice. Ask about the different designs and where they should be tattooed on your body. There are tattoos that look good on specific parts of our body you know... Some sexy tattoos can best be placed at the back, still others on the leg...

Others would have tattoos of names of their partners nearest to the heart. Well, if you want a tattoo, where would you like to have it placed? I remember an actress here in the Philippines who had a tattoo of her then boyfriend's name on her leg, when they broke up, she had it erased in favor of her new boyfriend. That's how much she likes to use tattoos as her means for expressing her love... So for my next question for you guys.. How far would you go as to tattooing your body? And for what purpose? Hope you could drop me a line or two to answer these questions..

SOME DEGREE OF SEPARATION

Hey guys, I have to tell you that my blog which I used to call VDAY Cagayan de Oro City is now back... After buying a domain for the said blog, I have made changes yet, I feel I am not happy with the said changes.. So I separated the two... The new concept, with the new name Empowered Mom now carries the domain, while the former is keeping the old blogspot url...
The thing is, I need to separate the two for the purpose that VDAY will not be lost in the process... so VDAY Cagayan de Oro City will focus on VDAY matters, while Empowered Mom will carry all my personal sentiments and actions towards women empowerment... So from the separation, will begin the journey of each blog finding its separate identities... Will update each today...

NEED A DATE?

Hey guys, June is just a month away. And I am pretty sure a lot of couples will walk down the aisle and tie the knot come June. And for those of you who do not have a partner yet, why not try dating black bbw singles in your area? Why don't you join a free interracial dating that will provide you the opportunity to be with your soul mate. It could be just a simple friendly date at first, but who knows? The chemistry might just be perfect... Don't you agree? Anyway, cupid does not really count love and loving by the length of time you spend with each other. Some spend 10 years, others a year only. Still others realize that they love the other even just by the few hours spent..

Although, my writing this post does not really mean I am pushing you guys too hard. I am just giving you an alternative. Sometimes they do work. And believe it or not, many successful relationships were developed through dating sites like free dating site. So try it today...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR BROTHER...

We had a very simple dinner at home...just us.. close relatives and friends... No kids for a five year old's birthday celebration... Oh well, it rained so hard in Balulang and the entire Cagayan de Oro City today... so they, who were invited are excused... lol...

Slide show below: (few pictures because we were not in the mood to take pictures...)

STYLISH COFFEE SLEEVES

My friends at the the call center I used to work at, are now enjoying free lattes aside from the ordinary coffee or MILO, that I used to enjoy with them during coffee breaks. According to them, management is now pampering them in terms of the coffee and chocolate drinks at the pantry. lol... Well, it's about time. But seriously, I miss the thirty minute coffee breaks. Nevertheless, I don't quite miss it because the tumbler given to me during our graduation is with me. It still serves it's purpose, hot or cold, I would not need a coffee cup sleeve to protect my hand. Not to mention, it keeps the temperature of my drink, so I would really enjoy it until the last drop..lol... I just miss the company... I miss my friends...

Well, I was just lucky I was hired for the account that gives free stuff like food servers, tumblers and all other useful wares. Not to mention, the stuff given are imported from the USA. Hahaha... But the other agents who belong to a different account only dreams of having such cool items. In fact, some of them would make a makeshift coffee sleeve out of folded handkerchief for the coffee cup used. The ones at the pantry really burns the hand. I guess, if I am to make a business in the said company, I would sell coffee sleeves. That would really be a hit. I saw at posylane.com how wonderful they can be. They can look as fashionable as the owner. lol... Really now.. I am not kidding...

Look at the photo if you don't believe me. Protection and fashion.. Oh, what a combination...

I AM GRASS...

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I'd like to think of myself as THE GRASS... Usually, grass is stepped on, sometimes uprooted, even burned. But what is miraculous about this is that, however grass is treated, it grows back again and again... So like me, I was stepped on, I was humiliated, I was left to cry on my own...but I found my way back... and I am growing stronger than ever... Hmm.. I wouldn't say I will let people step on me again... But hey, if you want to, go ahead... step on me, slap me with insults, discriminate... Make people think that I am no good... Hell, I will let you do all that... But watch out... Grass over powers the crops on the field if given the chance... GRASS THRIVES WHILE ALL OTHER PLANTS DIE...

WIRELESS SECURITY SYSTEM

When you have invested in a new house, complete with a new car, new appliances and new furniture, don't you think it is wise also to invest in a wireless security system? Well, this is just me... but I would like to share with you some insight about this. See, all of the things I mentioned are just material wealth... But here's the most important thought of all.. A lot of robbers and burglars want them because in turn, they become money once sold. And mind you, these money hungry people would do anything and everything in their power just to get what they want. Even curtail a life if only to succeed in looting your abode, God forbid.

I am not writing this post to scare you or anything, but see, I was once an agent for a specific brand of security systems in Manila. And most of my clients bought the said gadgets not for their material wealth, but for the continuous enjoyment of the family in using what was acquired through hard work and labor. Times like these, we could never be too sure. We just have to do what's right---protect our family from the unwanted. It is never easy when someone is able to get in your home and steal your most valuable possessions.

I remember our experience at our old house in Macabalan. We have a house there. And believe it or not, it was secured in the sense that no one is allowed inside unless they are invited to come in. In short, even the neighbors have no access to our home. My father build the house in such a way that we can be safe inside, and we are free from the neighbors' watchful eyes.. So we, my siblings and I, grew up in the house, playing inside the house, doing all the things we can do outside, inside our home. But one fateful morning, my parents went for a stroll at the beach. And as my mother was about to lock the gates, in just a matter of minutes, someone slipped inside and gathered as much as he could gather my mother's jewelry from the nightstand of their bedroom and some of our belongings found just above the television stand in the living room. My mother did not realize this until they came back and had to wake us all up because it was as early as 5 in the morning when they returned. Much to our amazement, the burglar was able to amass so much in such little time, and got out form the very entrance of our home... We did not have any security system then. That is perhaps one of the reasons why we had to move to another place... To secure the family... But to secure your family, must you move all the time? Not a good idea for me..

So anyway, having a wireless security system will definitely be a big help to prevent theft in the home. If you are interested, do visit the website that has inspired me to write this post, www.protectamerica.com, and if you are really in a hurry to get yourselves the protection for your family, call the toll free numbers at 877-470-2751.... and if you call that specific number you get 2 key chain remotes with your order....

PERSONAL TRAINER PLEASE...

With all these weight that I need to lose, I guess I will really need a personal trainer. But wait, I think I should be the one who should get a personal trainer certification... Hmmm... Am serious! I am not trying to make you guys laugh or anything. It's just that, maybe, if I take it as a career, then I would personally be aware and serious about really going all the way----- losing weight and keeping in shape, I mean... Yeah... I guess that would be it.. Because if it is work related, then I guess I need not be reminded anymore. Nor would I have to struggle to really lose it... Won't you agree?
Anyway, as I was thinking this thoughts earlier, I was also working my fingers here and guess what? I found a site that could help me earn the certification that I would need... That's at www.naturalhealers.com. Oh boy.. Am I excited or what?
But hey, I don't think I would like to work anywhere far from my classroom... You see, personal trainers are in high demand and can find jobs in coaching or the so called personal trainer on a one on one basis, private health clubs, rehabilitation clinics, hospitals, spas, cruise ships or resorts... Lucrative and however fabulous it may sound, I still would like to be teach Values Education to high School students... So I think that leaves me with the only option. That is, to enrol in a health club and get a personal trainer for myself... Hmmm... or maybe I should just marry one... that would save me money... hahaha...

FUN IN THE RAIN...

Lili and I had fun in the rain today... I think it's her first time to bath in the rain at home... Well, whenever we go to the beach and it rains, we do get wet in the rain... we do not have a choice right? But this time, it was I who told her we should bath in the rain.. just the two of us... It was fun... Outside our gate, the Balulang National High School Band members were inside the bahay kubo so as not to get wet while practising for Sunday's Araw ng Barangay Balulang. So while we could hear the band playing, Lili was dancing... Then whenever they stopped we'd continue playing batman and robin in the bat mobile... So we circled round and round in the front yard... we were laughing so hard... Besa, our house help took pictures of us, but I will upload it some other time as the PC does not allow it now... So what's a 33 year old doing with a 3 year old in the rain? Bonding with my little wonder... I will cherish this moment with my best friend forever...

A PET FOR LILI

Lili wanted so much to have a pet. Last night, she told me that she wants a unicorn for a pet. I told her that unicorns do not really exist in reality. That they are magical creatures resembling a horse with of course the added single horn. So she said she wants a horse for a pet instead... Uh oh...
Anyway, I explained to her that the orange house is not viable for a pet horse as there is no room for a stable. She reasoned that we do not have to have a stable at the orange house. She suggested that we should just have a collar similar to that of a Dog Collar around the horse's beautiful neck. Hmmm... I was speechless, but I did manage to explain to her and informed her lovingly, that Dog Collars are for dogs and horses are not supposed to be wearing them. After such conversation everything was settled. Collars for Dogs are for dogs, and not for horses... Then she told me that she wants a cute little white dog. The kind that costs P 8,000.00 when acquired. Ha! Too much for my budget. So, I suggested that she just take care of a fish. We have lots of fishes at the yellow house. Japanese Coi in the pond by the grotto, or the Flowerhorn that my brother Playboy is taking care of... We also have lots of different small fishes that have just been hatched from their eggs. Then gladly, it was settled. After River's birthday party last night, we came home with a jar full of the small fishes... I don't know what they are called but they have saved me a lot of money for a pet for my daughter. lol...

MERCY FABURADA IN ACTION...

My friend, sister and confidante, Mercy Faburada is now working in Dubai. She works at a diving shop, the job that's nearest her passion. Well, she is a marine biology graduate, a certified diver, a fellow XU Glee Club member and a devoted environmentalist. When I saw these pictures in her FS account, I am really overwhelmed with her experience... Well, I am always like this when someone I know is into something really life changing... You may laugh at me because this is merely a workshop, but hey, the purpose of the said workshop has a bigger impact to the world... This was actually during the UNU Conference....

LET'S PLAY POKER

Have you ever tried playing with online poker? Well, I have. Although, I must tell you, I am not really an expert in the game. My friends online have taught me how to play the game. So from scratch, I was able to survive some games... lol... Now, I have heard of the new poker game,"PokerStars Rakeback", which offers more than just the ordinary online poker game. You see, in the particular site where a player can play it, there is total indulgence in the game. They are actually give out PokerStars Bonus Code that a player can use to earn for himself the PokerStars Bonus. Wow... that is really something you know! :)

I remember, when I was yet starting to play, I found it quite expensive. But my friends online are the ones sendiong me free chips to continue playing... Not so bad is it? Now, it's teh site that is giving you liscence to play more games... Yeehaa!!

WORDS TO LIVE BY...

We have heard so many success stories and of course, there are also the failure stories... And guess what? Success and failure is only divided by three distinct words. People who fail always say "No, I Can't!"... and people who succeed in whatever they do always say "Yes, I Can!"...
If you live by the first then you are surely going to fail in whatever you do. These words have power over what you can do. Sure, people will say.. "It's all in the mind.." But if you always tell yourself that you can not do whatever you are supposed to do, then you will never be able to do it!.. Once you are overwhelemd with doubts and negativism, nothing will ever be done. And soon, you fail in your task or in your goals...
But of course, if you do just the complete opposite and think positively at all times... then you will be able to get what you have always wanted... As it was stated in The Secret... Visualize, Receive, and Give Thanks... even if it is still not there... sooner or later, it will be there... Yes, I can! That's all there is to it...

REVIVE MY PC PLEASE...

This virus is really eating me and draining my patience... While the technician said he will come around 4 pm today, did not come. Well, he has an excuse, it rained really hard today and didn't end until 11 tonight. So what I did while waiting for him was read through the registry cleaner review online. It pays to have a guide on how these matters should be addressed. Registry cleaners are a darn big business. It affects my life more than it has affected anyone else's.. Am I exaggerating? Not quite. But you see, my blogging career depends on a good clean PC that is free from all computer problems.. So he said he will come first thing tomorrow morning.. Oh well, I guess I need to be more patient with this...

CHEF CHOI...

This is my old friend and fellow thespian, Ian Juls Banghal, or now known as Chef Choi... he arrived from Germany last year and had this feast during his birthday this year... he prepared everything you see on his banquet table...

Ian, as we fondly called him in the early Pasundayag days, has always been artistic and adventurous with anything and everything. Before, we used to frequent their home because of his mom's good food that he and his sister loved to share with us... now, it's him who is doing all the magic in the kitchen... Well, what more can I say... congratz Ian....

PLUMBERS IN GREENSBORO

My search for a plumber really is a bit tasking. A man came today but turned out he is a gardener, and not a plumber. Darn, I gave out my number to get a plumber, not a gardener... Anyway, another person sent me a text message this morning saying that he is willing to look into the broken and twisted pipes at the back of the orange house, and I would like to give it a try. I hope it will be a real plumber already... The leak from the twisted and broken pipes are terrible. Water is wasted and if that can't be fixed soon, nothing good will ever come of it. Where are the plumbers when they are needed??? ugh!

Speaking of plumbers, if you are in the Greensboro area, I am recommending Grensboro Plumbing for your plumbing needs. Not that I am a contented customer, but I read from the website, www.greensboroplumbing.org, that they are the best in your area... Many contented clients have their testimonials there.... Well good for you. Plumbing jobs are just a click away from you... I wish we can also have a plumbing unit or organization to take care of our plumbing needs here in our dear "city of golden friendship", Cagayan de Oro City.. Maybe soon... I hope...

THE DIVINE MERCY SHRINE IN EL SALVADOR

JESUS, KING OF MERCY,
WE TRUST IN YOU...

JOIN MY AGGREGATOR

Hey guys, I would like to invite you to join FeedCluster.com aggregators. You can actually create your own or you can join mine... I would be very happy to have your blogs be part of my aggregators. That way, you will be able to gain more visitors for your site. Isn't that amazing?
The reason why I created my aggregator is for my blogs to have a common widget where I can place in all the blogs that I have. Therefore, whichever blog they visit, they will have a link to the other blogs that I have. And if they are interested, they will soon visit the other blogs as well...

This is how my aggregator looks like:

If you click on the green plus sign you will then be able to add your blog to my aggregator... And of course, you can then be able to place a membership widget on your page...

You also have the option to use a ticker widget, which you can place above or below your posts, or wherever you deem them fitting...

This is how a ticker widget looks like...

BLOWING

River and Lili love to blow candles. In fact, whenever there are birthday candles to blow, they always want to blow the candles after every celebrant blows his or her candle/s. Take this photo for instance. This was during Nanay Lorie's birthday. They volunteered to blow the candle on her cake...lol...

BBW DATING & REAL LIFE DATING

Shaun, my former colleague at one of the call centers in Cebu just got hitched. He sent me email yesterday and I could not help but laugh about it because I could not imagine how small the world is. He married another colleague, from another call center I worked with, the previous one before I came to the one where I met Shaun. And the funniest thing of all is the fact that the two were dating already when, unknown to each other, they each joined a black bbw dating. Unknown to each other at that time, they were also chatting using different names while in real life, they were already dating. Hahaha... Later on, after their eyeball, the two were shocked to find out that they were really who they are.. hahaha...
Well, both of them are half Filipinos, born outside but educated here in the Philippines. Seems that fate really worked wonders for them... Joining the site meant that they were really meant for each other. Finding each other in real life and finding each other online is the greatest proof of their fated love story.. So after a few months, they decided to tie the knot...

BOOK MODEL

Here is Lili modeling her favorite book... lol... Actually, this is her idea. She said she wants a picture of her and her favorite book. That's is actually a 3D book, so that explains the glasses. You need the glasses for the 3D effect while reading the book. My little girl loves it so much... In fact, we have other 3D books that she also likes...

CHRISTIAN CHAT

My Manang Bebing or known here in blogosphere as Neonila of the blogsite, A Perfect World is still single at 36. Since she is a Christian, I always tell her to visit and join a christian singles chat. I do believe that she will find her soul mate there. She tells me that she is still enjoying her single status now but would very much like to settle down with a man who is God fearing, self reliant and responsible. I always tell her that she can find all that in the site.
I have met a lot of friends there and all of them are good people. And what's nice about it is that you will really have a common ground with them if you are a Christian just like everyone else. But of course, the site does not discriminate those who belong to other religions. One thing I like is that all the people there are truly God's gift....
Contrary to what others think, it is not a boring chat site okay... People there are also blessed with their own humorous antics. So what are you waiting for Manang Bebing... join the site now... As to the rest of you guys, try visiting the site... I promise you, you wont be disappointed...

LILI'S NEW LOOK...

Guess what? We did not have to go to the parlor for Lili's new hair. I did this.. Well, as you all know, I have enrolled myself in cosmetology once...and that was a long time ago...hehehe... It was under the NON FORMAL EDUCATION of DECS, now it is already known as ALS or Alternative Learning System of the Department of Education...
Come to think of it, I have already saved a lot by doing the cut myself. First, we saved on the fare.. about P 36.00, then the haircut itself which will cost P50.00 to P75.00 depending where we will go to have it done, and the most expensive of all? The trip to Jollibee... hahaha... I usually bribe Lili with anything she likes at Jollibee when I want something that she needs to comply with... Of course, we have fun in the process..

Never mind the strands that you see protruding... I did not use a blower you see... Her hair was still wet from the shower when we took this pic...

THE NANNY IN THE JEWISH CHATROOMS?

I have always loved the prime time comedy, Tha Nanny.. I just love Fran Dresher so much that whenever I see back episodes on channel 41, I usually put down what I am doing just to finish the show. How I wish I could chance upon her on one of the jewish chatrooms I joined in. Fran may just be a character but I heard that the real life actress is indeed Jewish. So is Barbra Streisand, my favorite singer. Jewish people are really nice to communicate with. You have so much to learn from them. As a matter of fact, most of the Jewish friends I have online are succesful in their own right. And you can really see that most succesful movies are produced by Jewish producers. They have really done so much in their lives, that the world should look into it as a great turn around. We all know that they have such a bad experience during Hitler's time, but they did not only survive. They made so much with their lives.. And with that, I look up to them, I have high regard for them...
Although I always cry whenever I watch Schindtler's List, Fran always make sme laugh everytime I watch The Nanny...

SHE USED TO BE A STUDENT OF MINE:

I saw this photo in her friendster account and I am really proud of her. Who would ever thought that this lady could transform herself into someone far too different from who she used to be in high school... Hmm.. I will not expound further what the changes were, but I must tell you, it was totally a drastic change.. a good one,I think... and obviously, this lady is very happy about it... I am just glad that her parents are supportive of the said change...

My point in posting this here? Well, I just want to say that as parents, we should always be supportive of our kids' endeavors...

RETAIL MANAGEMENT

Many people nowadays are anxious about money making. Some go abroad to work or find a greener pasture. Some enroll themselves to another course or a second course to match the demands by their prospective endeavors, be it abroad or here in the country. While still others blend into the economy as business persons doing wholesale or retail. Wholesale is advantageous for business owners, and retail is an advantage for the consumers. But a wise business person would try to learn the art of retail management, to enhance the business and make it grow in the process.

The retail business is actually a good alternative since it is in the retail industry that people who can not afford to buy goods at large amounts, will still be able to buy the goods at retail prices. In fact, this is common in the small villages that do not have easy access to the market. I remember buying 1/4 kilo cooking oil instead of buying the gallon at the supermarket at the neighboring store. I was also able to buy shallots, ginger and eggs by the piece and not by the kilo that it was originally sold in the market. It is convenient on my part, and economical too. Now, I have also noticed that even beauty products are packaged in retail already. So people need not buy the bottle because their favorite products are now available in sachets. So goes for important products like toothpaste, shampoo and the like. Even colognes are now available cheaper in smaller packets and bottles. Come to think of it, retail is teh driving force in the economy... won't you agree?

SOMETHING TO PONDER...

Got this from my friend Mary Jean's photos at FS...

PLUMBER 911

San Jose Plumbing reminded me again that I need a plumber to look into the twisted and broken pipes at the orange house. Whew... Living alone is quite challenging. What with the many things that has to be taken cared for. But of course, my parent's house is just a few houses away... I could always call on my father in times like this. But then again, I just wanna be the big girl that I already am. No more time to cry for broken pipes... after all, it only takes a plumber to look into it and get the job done.

So today, I went around the village and asked around. Someone recommended a name, gave him my number and asked if the plumber on recommendation can come over to fix the pipes before Thursday. Still waiting but no one has ever knocked on the door yet... Hmm, maybe tomorrow...

Anyway, the site I viewed, www.sanjosecaplumbing.org has given me much insight about plumbing work. Sadly, the site does not include plumbers in my area. How I wish...
