NEW INCONVENIENCE AT PAYINGPOST.COM

Update:

As of August 23, 2009 - GOODBYE & THANK YOU PAYINGPOST...

UPDATE AS OF JULY 24 - CLICK HERE

As of July 16, 2009 - I urge all bloggers scammed by payingpost.com to write about their experience for SCAM SEO to make all bloggers in the blogosphere aware of what is going on at payingpost. Surely we have a social responsibility to inform others. We should not just shut up and delete links. We need to do what we are good at in order to find meaning in our blogging... Payingpost.com is a scam and the blogosphere need us to shout this out! I am glad many bloggers are already writing about their bad experience. Join us in our cause...

As of July 9, 2009 -- STILL NO PAYMENT. NO RESPONSE TO MY COMMUNICATION WITH PAYINGPOST.COM, NO RESPONSE FROM PAYPAL BILLING... THEREFORE, I CONCLUDE, PAYINGPOST.COM IS A SCAM...

BEWARE, FELLOW BLOGGERS! DO NOT TAKE OPPORTUNITIES FROM THEM ANYMORE... ADVERTISERS ARE PAYING THEM FOR THE OPPS THAT YOU DO, AND YOU GET NOTHING FROM YOUR WORK!!!!

As of July 3, 2009-- STILL NO PAYMENT RECEIVED! I requested money from paypal@payingpost.com in my paypal account... I did mention I was paid in the past, so I looked it up in transactions history and found their paypal email. At paypal, there is a request money feature... and that's what I did for now... Billing them of the services we rendered is not at all a bad idea. I suggest you do the same...

As of July 2, 2009-- NO PAYMENT RECEIVED! Yes, they paid me January1, 2009 in the amount of $117.50, but that was the last. I would have been paid May and June respectively, but they didn't update my account for current payment until June 3... Now, the expected July 1 payment is nowhere near... So what does this mean??? PAYINGPOST.COM is A SCAM??? I sent email at support@payingpost.com but I have not received any response. It would have been easier to send through their contact form but it is too difficult to do that since the captcha is missing...

Print Screen added today, June 30, 2009...

I haven't been paid by Payingpost.com as of May 1 and June 1 respectively. Their policy then was upon reaching $50 bloggers will be paid. As of May 1, I have already reached $60 plus... but no payment ever processed. Then June 1 came, $160 plus, still no payment ever processed. I submitted a ticket and they updated my account as of June 3 saying that I will be paid July 1. Today, as I anticipate tomorrow's payment, I checked my account at Payingpost and below is another inconvenience I found:

Important: When your total unpaid earnings reach $100, we'll send you a payment on the 1rst of the next month. For example, if your total unpaid earnings reached $100 during November we would send you a payment on December 1. If your total unpaid earnings haven't yet reached $100, they'll roll over to the next month and accrue until they meet the $100 threshold.

We do realise that for some of you this is an inconvenient but we're forced to apply this term in order to reduce the monthly refunds to advertisers. The reason we have to do refunds are: bloggers use to nofollow links, delete links, delete posts, delete entire blog, obviously after payment is received. Once you decide to reserve an opportunity you agree with this rule.

After I get paid tomorrow, I shall perhaps think twice if I am still going to patronize payingpost as a company... we'll see....

Happy Lili Always...

DEPOSIT YOUR BABY'S CORD BLOOD STEM TODAY....

In my previous posts, I have posted about the wonders and miracle of cord blood stem cells and their benefits to the baby himself or his siblings. Here's another good news from cryo-cell. In case you are thinking about storing your baby's cord blood, Cryo-Cell is offering a special discount for expectant families to store their baby's cord blood from now until Sunday 6/28/09, families can save $725 on Cryo-Cell's U-Cord service using the promotional code HOT. As we all know, over 12,000 umbilical cord blood stem cell transplants occur worldwide to treat over 75 different diseases... If you did not know that, then now you know.. wink.. wink..

When diseases are supposed to be treated, cord blood stem cells are 100% match for the infant donor and 1 in 4 match for a sibling. So if you bank your baby's stem cell today, he or she and his or her sibling can benefit from it in the future. It is just like banking on a good remedy or solution that will surely save your baby's life, and his or his siblings as well.

Cryo-Cell is the industry leader in cord blood banking with over 175,000 clients and more accreditations than any other private cord blood bank. I wouldn't trust anyone else but CRYO-CELL...

NEED A RIDE?

Shirley needs a Chicago Limo. I needed a Balulang jeepney..lol... While doing this post, I am trapped here in the city because no jeepney is ever around. It was drizzling earlier and I really needed to take shelter from the cold and the coming rain... I have no umbrella. I don't usually bring one. So here I am in this cozy Internet Cafe doing my thing in the blogosphere and in chat land... good thing they had a vacant seat when I arrived. Now it's raining like hell outside and who knows how long I will have to stay here... Darn cold showers...

Anyway, my chat friend Shirley is getting married this weekend. And she tells me she has a very big problem. The Limo that they reserved as wedding get away vehicle, will not be available for it is for repair. In fact, she was given her money back as refund. Hmmm.. That is indeed a very big problem but not quite. Mr. Google just gave us a solution. We both checked www.chicago-limo.org and found that her wedding get away vehicle is just a mile away... Oh, I am so happy for you dear Curly Shirley--- I'll chat with you again. Do tell me the details of the wedding and the aftermath--- hahaha.. I mean, the juicy tidbits of the honeymoon??? lol... Well, good luck dearies, and best wishes to you and Jordan...

Learning From Other VAWC Survivors...

post moved. Please visit EMPOWERED MOM, where all VAWC & Women Empowerment related posts are now housed.
It's OKAY! I know why you sport that tone in your comment. All because of the truth... Relatives and friends ganging up on me so I will not pursue the case further... All the lies and all the hearsays... It's all in the strategy... And so far, I know what strategy you guys are playing... I wonder where the person from Tarlac is? Because the one from Arizona is the one visiting me constantly now. Indeed the complete opposite of the person from Tarlac. If I am to say it, that's a blog with a split personality... That's what happens when there are two or more persons operating the blog... ahahaha...

If it's goodbye then so be it. I will miss you, really... But I like that too-- you saying goodbye. lol.. But of course my reports here will never lie. I am sure I will see reports of your visits again... I know your IP address dear. It always shows here on my end...

See you around blogosphere buddy! Happy blogging....

NEED PHONE NUMBERS INFO?

This is an experience of my friend Sheila and how she was able to find help. She had been a victim of a caller who is using so many different numbers just to pester her or ruin her day. One time she called me and Sheila said, "It's been so long since I remembered I needed help with Phone Number Info. Now, my text and call stalker has declared herself  THE LEGAL WIFE". She gasped in between sentences, and was breathing rather fast on the other line that I can almost see her fuming.  I listened intently as my friend talked and talked. When it was my turn to speak, I told her that the caller must be charged with BIGAMY for marrying twice, as she was once married in their province. Well, Sheila did hire someone to conduct a background investigation about the woman her boyfriend is supposedly dating without him knowing it. She wanted out of the relationship but she just have to have a solid ground for breaking up with him. She told me further that she   do not need further Number Information because she knows who she is and what kind of woman she is. She has been pestering her through text messages about this issue, and Sheila could not take it anymore.

And although the Phone Info Source can be used further to determine who she is dealing with., she decided to instead put an end to the relationship. For tracking unwanted callers or texters, I learned this very important information from Sheila. All you need to do is report them at www.phoneinfosource.com, where you can also find out if there are other complainants against a specific number. Once found, it will be stored in the data base and a staff will get back to you for further notice. Try it today...

GOODNIGHT MJ--- THE LIGHTS ARE FINALLY OUT!

I am not an avid fan of Michael Jackson, but I do have songs sung by him that are considered as one of my many favorite songs...

I will always remember MJ in these songs that makes me cry sometimes...

Heal The World for its meaningful lyrics and good recall...

BEN, a song about friendship and unconditional LOVE & Acceptance...

It's not goodbye, just goodnight. You will forever be remembered as you are considered a legend in the music industry----

LITTLE ME...

My father always say that Lili reminds him of how I was when I was her age... We are so alike in so many ways, he says... I could just smile... I know that my dad will always remember me as a little girl because we always go together. He would usually bring me to his office at Camp Alagar, and when I studied Kindergarten there, we go to Camp Alagar everyday together... It was so easy to go to him when I needed him... I am blessed to have a father who never hesitates to love, and love he does... Thank you so much Tatay, I love you----

I Like That...

It is said that harmonized codes is the key to efficient and accurate Harmonized System Commodity Classification for every organization. It is dedicated to developing intelligent, easy to use software systems that reduce customs compliance errors and lower the cost of HS classification. Hmm.. These terminologies get my head cracking, lol... Then of course, it follows that hts code lookup is highly essential as well.

Meanwhile, hs tariff classifications is also very important. HS Classification errors will cause importers and governments to lose billions of dollars annually. Classification errors occur because of Complexity, Specialized knowledge requirement, and Manual processing.

All these I have found as I browsed through the net.. There are really a lot of information we can get that are helpful and beneficial for all of us in the wide world of the web... See you around... happy surfing---

THE TREE...

While waiting for Lili and River at Lifetime Study Center, I have come to love staying at the balcony.. And this tree, along with the Chico Tree, block my sight. But one time while taking a photo of Lili's and River's activities, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful this tree is....

ON HOME INSPECTION

My friend Alisha was not so familiar with how Denver Home Inspection is done. But she said she is not also blinded or ignorant as to how it must be done. So after 3 years in the US as a SPED Teacher, she is now able to buy her own house. Before she could really do anything further, home inspection is what is needed to be done first. The inspectors will check for electrical wirings, termites and rodents infestations and all other problems that may be present. That process is essential. She told me that if this process is done here in the Philippines, we could save more on costs in cure as the goal of home inspection is prevention.

Hmm.. I like that. See, before I moved in here at the Orange house, we saw that the house had termites already as well as some tiny rodents that show up once in a while. With them we are very careful so we had to do something. Bought anything and everything to rid the orange house of such pestering creatures. And thank God they are little by little not showing up anymore... We should be alarmed if these creatures appear again as I heard that a neighbor died of leptospirosis a few months back...

NOT A GOOD DEAL...

Our neighbor sold us her MAJA BLANCA that tastes really BLAND. No offense, but it really does not taste good. That's P 20.00 per small plate.

You can easily identify the ingredients. I can taste the buko strips but the MAJA? hmm.. I can not.

And the neighbor is too assertive in her deal. She said she is going to sell me another one tomorrow. Should I tell her the truth? If I tell her that it really is not a good deal, I am sure she will get angry. Just like the time I told her to add sugar and milk to her halo-halo which is expensive yet does not have the exact amount of sugar and milk... Oh well, I'll just tell her I am not into MAJA BLANCA... Or, I could make my own and give her some, lol... That way, she will know how a real MAJA BLANCA will taste like. Agree?

General Contractors

I heard that if you hire an Everett General Contractor, you are sure of the output, and your money is in place. They have been in the business fro 40 good years and specialize in Design Homes, Additions, Kitchens, Dog Houses, Decks, Home Inspections, Home Repairs, New Roofs, New Floors and New Siding & Windows.

Hmm.. I also heard that they do not rest until they have given their clients a good output. So if you look for an Everett Contractor, you can easily find one by word of mouth. Since people have been accustomed to their great work. Many clients have proven that just as much as happy patrons.

I wish I could find something similar here in our beloved city. It is not easy especially because I am not into such stuff. I only rely on whoever will help me decide in terms of contractors where remodeling is concerned.

In this point in time, it is but rare to find a good contractor. Not everyone will look after their clients like family. Most contractors treat clients like pure business. And because Everett General Contractors are the complete opposite of this, they have gained success built on their reputation for being the best in the service... For more information, do visit the site www.everettwageneralcontractors.com

WAY BACK INTO LOVE...

I guess everyone who has failed at relationships would like to try once more... given that an opportunity is at hand...

FOR SAFETY...

When an alarm in your home is activated, ADT can immediately call the authorities in your area so they can send the proper emergency services to your home. Perhaps it is the best Home Security System in the market that could readily answer one's need when looking for the best Security System. At least that's what I have found out from my research tonight...

I have mentioned in a previous post that my main concern now is keeping the orange house safe. Well, I have searched for so many alternatives if not solutions to ensure security and safety for our home, and I found out that ADT monitored security systems have protected more than 5 million homes and families in the US, excluding the 90% of Fortune 500 Companies, U.S. government buildings, and airports that use ADT Systems for their security. So if you use them at home, that would really spell "comfort" and "relief".... You could just imagine all that I am going through after that masked man incident. It is not easy. I feel my heart would explode every time I hear something move. My heart beats fast and I feel we are being attacked or something. Call me paranoid, but I can not help it---- I just need to do something for safety and security in the orange house...

PIRATED...

This is so ironic right? Pirated CDs/DVDs being sold in an open market while it is illegal to do so.. Well, it seems that the anti piracy law is not really fully implemented here. Besides that, business men who sell these items are never caught nor fined. So there, they sell them continuously----

LOAN ANYONE?

Previously, I posted about loans... Personal Loans, Business Loans and Unsecured Loans. If we are in a tight financial stress, we sometimes opt to get {Personal Loans} which are sometimes difficult to get but like what I previously mentioned, there are actually many agents and agencies that are willing to give them, parallel the very large sum in interests. {Unsecured Personal Loans} are easier to come by as there are no guarantees necessary. no colaterals needed before the loan gets approved. Usually, this is for personal reasons like emergencies or travel, or one can apply for {Business Loans} to help promote or expand your business.

Whatever kind of loan one is hoping to get, www.firstamerigo.com can always help... So I am inviting everyone interested to drop by the site and weigh loan options. I read that they deal very well with unsecured personal loans that are not much of a burden to the clients because they give reasonable interests only. Unlike the other companies that obviously set high interests. Turn around time for a loan from them is also short compared to others. So if you are in need of emergency money, of course, you would always opt for that which is readily available and hassle free right?

So if you are interested, please visit their website today.

LDS CHAT

Reuben is a friend who is Lds by religion. That's Latter Day Saints for those who do not know yet. He had been inviting me and Tracy for an Lds Chat. So today we went and signed up for free. Oh nothing much really. Except that we now have an additional site to meet new friends and new point of contact with the world online. Like all other chat rooms, I expect to exchange thoughts and ideas and hope that they will be respected and received in a pleasant manner. Of course, Reuben is a nice fellow so this site must really be good also...

In case you too are interested, do visit www.ldschatrooms.net and make new friends right away...

Happy Father's Day--- A late Post...

Father's day cards made by Lili for Daddy Lazar, Daddy Bastian and Tatay Dennis.. What do you know? My three year old has always been thoughtful.. They may not look as good as a professional greeting card, but for me, they are the best... My Lili worked hard to do them... and she had fun too---

ASIAN CHAT

I am now in an Asian Chat with friends from Malaysia and Thailand. Well, they are the friends I chat with every now and then. I simply love the exchange of culture. The recipes and the laughs... It is not true that every country is different. I feel we are really connected. We have similar histories. Similar problems and discussing them in the chat room helps a lot. When we chat, we extend a part of us to the world. And chatting with Asians make it more exciting because although we are the same, we know we are also different. And the difference is what draws the boundaries... It is that which sets the pace in the exchange... Getting to know more. Giving out information to inform and correct misconceptions. I like that. It is a wonderful educational experience that makes us a better student of the world... Sign up is free, visit www.asianchatroom.net and build friendships in Asia...

Tattoo Anyone?

Here is a photo taken during the night cafe. Shown here is a guy who had himself tattooed by experts. One does not have to go anywhere else. There are about three to four stalls that render this service at the Night cafe. They have different styles and designs of tattoos to choose from. You can also have them do your very own sketch or design.

See the picture at the right? That's just a few of the samples...

They come in many colorful designs. Some imagined. Others a replica of something well thought of. And of course, whichever part of the body you want them on, they can best be seen in those samples...

EMO CHAT

Have you ever joined in an Emo Chat? Quite frankly, I have not. But I am always curious how it would be to join one. Hmm.. Are people in an Emo Chat really that "emo"? Are they really very sensitive and almost suicidal? Well, that's how most people see an emo. Although, I must tell you, I have not met anyone who is "emo". Not yet anyway... This curiosity lead me to search if there are really chat rooms for people who are considering themselves to be part of this distinct social group, and I found one at www.emochatroom.net, where it is free to sign up.

I am considering of signing up too. I am curious and I am excited to know what I shall be able to discover and learn from the people in that site--- Would you like to join me in my quest? Sign up now..and see you there...

PUSO (HANGING RICE)

This is fondly called PUSO here in Mindanao and in the Visayas. You can not find this anywhere else but in the areas I mentioned. First a diamond shaped basket is made from "lukay" or the stalk from coconut leaves. Then it is half filled with rice. It is placed in a pot, submerged in water and boiled to cook.

Vampire Chat

I have always been fascinated with stories about vampires and werewolves. But because Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise were gorgeous vampires, I have begun to wonder if there are really vampires in this day and time. And if there are, I wish they would have a Vampire Chat with me. hmmmm.. I just found this cool site where vampire enthusiasts and fans meet and chat. It is a chat beyond the Twilight Saga okay... I know for a fact that it is no longer Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt that teenagers fantasize about if the topic is vampires, lol.. Well, during my time, yes.. But I guess I have remained a fan of Tom and Brad in the Interview with A Vampire. hehehe.. Chatting in a Vampire Chat room may seem like doing an interview with the real vampires.. Won't you agree?

Just in case, sign up for free at www.vampirechatroom.net--- See yah...

POONCHARADO...

Lili and River loves CHAMPORADO or in their language, Pooncharado, hehehe... They love it with their favorite powdered chocolate milk as topping...

Now, if you want the best TABLEYA, or chocolate for cooking the favorite all time rainy day snack, try MAESTRADO Tableya from Camiguin. There are also native or home made tableya from Bohol and Leyte that are great for cooking. But since we live in the city, and home made is difficult to come by, you just have to go to the supermarket and look for a beige packet with the name MAESTRADO. I swear, it's the best...

FYI: This is not a paid ad okay.. I just love it so much... Thanks by the way to Manang Bebing who gives us a box every time she comes to visit...

SELF STORAGE

Anyone who moves a lot would know that it is a huge problem if Self Storage is only as good as wrapping a Christmas present... We need to keep our treasures on sturdy boxes that would withstand the wear and tear while moving them across and around. If you are in the Arizona area, perhaps Self Storage Facilities Phoenix AZ are most helpful for you. There are also Storage Rentals Phoenix AZ that would be more convenient.

But here in the Philippines, storage would mean many things. For the not so poor, it would mean a bag or luggage of some sort. Or maybe a plastic box made by OROCAN. That could really save time and energy. For the poor, of course, there is nothing to store. LOL... Meant as a joke.. but quite true! The poor here can not even afford even the simplest box to put their wares in. But for the rich, there are so many to choose from. I remember before, when I traveled a lot, I would often see people bringing so many things aboard the ship. Some boxes would hold fruits, plants or even animals. Other animals are placed in a basket with holes while still others in sophisticated looking cages. Darn, social classes can always be determined by the box or the typoe of storage one uses.. Won't you agree?

Clean Crabs...

HOME SECURITY

Home Security is my main priority. Ever since my sister told me about the masked man that jumped over the fence to the neighbors side, I could not help but worry about us at the orange house, and the orange house itself. Added to my fear is the fact that just a few meters away from our house, a woman was robbed by a masked man. My concern very day now is how to protect the orange house. It is always scary to the point that I lack sleep just thinking about these matters. That explains my very late sleeping pattern. Sometimes I feel I am already a security guard in our own house, lol... But seriously, something must be done about this.

So I searched for what possible solutions. Today I came by www.smarthomediscounts.com and found that they have cool stuff that helps. There I found so many interesting gadgets as simple as a remote or automatic control of a few lights, or other safety devices that would be helpful when someone walks in. There are also advanced digital controllers or those with voice recognition. What's good about the company is that when one decides to add home security systems and X10 home automation devices to his or her home, it is surprisingly affordable and simple. Prices can start under $60 and require no new wires! Isn't that amazing?

Hmm.. That I will have to look into again...

too much for one heart

I found this while searching for lyrics of my favorite Miss Saigon songs. Such a beautiful song but this did not make it to the album..

Outside there is a war,
In here the night is still.
The jasmine buds have bloomed,
The way a jasmine will.
And I have given birth to a speckle of dust,
To a sparkle of light, to a small hint of life.
Frail as a flower in the morning,
Is this tiny work of art,
When I see his face before me,
This is too much for one heart.
Here, like a seedling in the garden,
Is a world about to start,
How I need you here to share it,
This is too much for one heart.
Yours, half of all, this is yours,
And I swear upon the moon,
Soon you will see,
The best of you and me,
In a smile that is shining,
On the face of your son.
All alone, in my arms I hold such beauty,
I want time to stop right here,
Make perfection last forever,
In which I could disappear.
Disappear!
Yours, half of all here, this is yours,
And now I feel you coming near,
Here, you will see,
The best of you and me,
All our stories combining,
In this life we've begun.
I have been living with such wonder,
That my soul could burst apart,
Now or soon we'll be together,
This is too much for one heart.

Planning a Singapore Trip---

My sister Honey will soon be flying to Singapore for the long overdue scholarship grant from TTRP. And since Singapore is just near it would not cost much to visit her every now and then. At least that was what my father said. So Honey told him that they (my father and mother) should go with her on her trip. At least it will be a breather for them. She said there are so many things to see in Singapore. While she was there during her audition, she had time to roam the city. I should have gone with her at that time but my leave was not approved. When she returned she has a photograph of all the major attractions she has been to. I would surely love to see Sentosa Island, Clarke Quay, the Night Zafari, Jurong Bird Park and all others. Not to mention, take a picture with the merlion, lol... Honey saved a lot during her trip because she stayed with a friend and did not spend a dime for hotels. But now that my parents are planning to go, and I am also planning to go with them (Me and Lili should have our passports stamped on as it will expire in 2011, lol..), since there will be many of us, staying at Honey's friend is not a good idea. We should get a hotel that's affordable yet, comfortable to stay in. Perhaps with a hot and cold shower, cable TV and WIFI connection for blogging to continue, lol... I heard that if we book at Accor Hotels we will be able to take advantage of savings of up to 60% if we book on-line between today, June 23 to 29 June, for stays between July 10 and September 30, 2009. Just in time for Honey's trip too...

The Dead Bird...

(I am posting this here for my followers on this blog. This is originally posted from dorothysvinyard.info)

This morning, my little girl saw this dead bird on the terrace floor. She called me immediately and pointed at it with teary eyes. She said she pitied the bird. Then she changed the tone of her voice, speaking in a quite distinct adult like manner, as she explained to me that what happened to the bird is similar to the story Teacher Marissa told them in class. So I asked her to tell me what the story was and she started recounting about a mommy bird with three little birdies who mommy birdie told not to go anywhere else but stay right at their nest. Unfortunately for one of them who disobeyed mommy birdie, went out the nest and hurt itself. So I asked her if the action of the little birdie was good or bad. And she told me it is not good not to listen to mommy birdie. I told her that children should always listen to their mommies because mommies love their kids and would not want them to get hurt or hurt others. She listened intently, looked me in the eye and asked me about the dead bird on the floor. I didn't know what to say except that the ants will benefit from it now that it's dead. She then told me we should bury the birdie... and so we did. The funny part was when Zarelle got a candle and a lighter from the altar (has easy access for her) and told me we should pray so the bird will go to birdie heaven... hmm.. I do not know where she got this idea...

A JUMPY RAINY AFTERNOON AT SCHOOL...

The kids were all jumpy when they saw Mr. Frog jump into the wet ground... They were cheering and jumping like it was their first time to see the frog...lol... This reminds me of the first time I saw snails mating at the grounds of the old MDO Campus.. lol..

People in Atlanta are lucky to have an Atlanta Electrician who is more than qualified to do electrical jobs that would keep families safe in their own homes.

When I had a short circuit here at the orange house, my first notion was to call an ambulance, lol... I was so afraid and not knowing what to do drives me even more to the brink of losing my sanity. I am not kidding. I was very very afraid at that time. Good thing my father taught me a few tricks that I used. The lights came back on, but the smoke was still there. I soon realized, we could have gotten the worst scenario at hand if we were not able to do something right away. After that incident, I called my father to check on the house. He is not an electrician but he is good at electrical stuff... And so, we were once again safe...

New Teacher at Bukidnon State University

Yesterday morning I got a personal call informing me that I am to teach at Bukidnon State University in the evening to cover Ed 137 for a Professor who gave up the MWF schedule. That Professor is my former student and he asked if I could cover for him. And of course, I accepted the offer as well as the challenge. We met at the administration building at 5pm and endorsed me to the school registrar for my papers to be processed. Then at exactly 6:30 I met the first section until 7:30 and came again the next section. That's two sections of graduating Education students who I am supposed to teach how to teach Values to their Elementary Students in the future. It was fun. I gave them their first quiz.. hahaha.. I did not terrorize them or something, the questions were simply practical. And they all did well..

It's a new journey for me... I also learned yesterday from the registrar that it was easier for them to hire me because I ranked 1 not only in MOGCHS in the recent Teacher's Ranking. I was Rank 1 all over the Division.. She showed us the list... OMG! That is such an honor. God really heard my prayer. If I did not pray enough(not to mention friends and relatives who did also), I don't think I would have made it to rank 1 even at MOGCHS level.. Surely, God was with me during the examinations, the interview and of course the demo I did last summer--- I was told not to have the demo anymore as I scored 19/20 in the previous demo--- God did that! Praise the Lord...

Oh, and thank God for James for thinking of me to replace him in the MWF sked...

Firefalldown Inspires...

Here's another group that has made Filipinos proud.. Firefalldown.. a Filipino-British band, with a passion to inspire people through music. They write songs to encourage listeners to make a difference by living out their God-given dreams. They have been a hit in the British scene and I am sure, here in the Philippines also..

Firefalldown consist of Jon Blaylock (lead vocals, guitar), Joel Sablayan (bass) and Andrew Hodgson (drums). They have been together since February 2007 as they released their first single in London. Now, they have a new single that will surely rock and inspire the world.

Below is a video of the latest single from the group...

Now, if you want more Firefalldown music videos specifically, the one above, or lyrics and other stuff about your favorite band then visit their website, www.firefalldown.com. And don't forget, Firefalldown Album “Commisioned” out now! Download in Itunes or Amazon!

And, if you ask me how Firefalldown's music have inspired me? Well, every time I feel down and I listen to Eternally, I am filled with this sense of confidence that nothing could go wrong because God is with me... Just like the photo below which was taken on the day I was rushing about and was about to lose hope, but on my background was the song and it healed me from my frustrations, making me smile and decide to go on with the difficult task I was facing.. I took a picture of myself as I said "I can do this!".. at 6pm I was finally done... whew.. after 15 days of difficulty analyzing, consulting, battling and praying and computing, rewriting, editing-- name it, I almost gave up! Thank God, I did not... For if I did, I would not have been given a slot in the ranking... Praise the Lord! Thank you Firefalldown!

That's how powerful the message of Firefalldown's music affects lives.. In them, there is inspiration and hope... Truly I am inspired everytime I listen to them..

By the way, if you want lyrics, see it below:

ETERNALLY

Are you up for what you said?
Take a look, are you living for tomorrow?
Can you hear all that she said?
Pick up the pieces

Are you gonna take this slow?
Try to run, but you know that they'll follow
Are you gonna take a stand
Ba't ka lumalayo?

I am eternally forever
you see only what you have, what you've done
I am eternally forever
I'm waiting son

Do you know your history?
Can you feel your backbone bleeding?
Do you understand that all believing is being?
Wait inside my heart for another
Wake inside, can you hear my heart beating?

We will write this off cuz I know that you love me
we shall write this off cuz I now that you love

I am eternally forever
you see only what you have, what you've done
I am eternally forever
I'm waiting son

All right, are you doing all right, are you picking yourself back up tomorrow?
All right, are you doing all right, are you coming over to me?

Here's another great thing about being inspired, do you know about the Firefalldown promo which will give you a chance to win an iTouch? It's called "Be inspired and win an iTouch".. for details of this contest, please visit www.firefalldown.com---

Lifetime Study Center K 1 PTA MEETING...

I almost forgot that this morning was Lili's and River's PTA meeting. Good thing that Bisa reminded me. I came in late, but the guard said they have just started so I didn't really miss anything. When I came up the room, Teacher Marissa asked me to introduce myself.. so that was what I missed.. hahaha.. Then we started with our meeting. The school rules and policies were discussed, activities per meeting, lessons, the school calendar and all others. When everything was discussed already we then proceeded to the election of PTA Officers. Only the President and the Vice President positions were voted on. And guess what? I was elected president, and Mrs. Agnes Briones as the Vice President. Hmmm... That means I should be more active in my daughter's school life... as I already am.. hahaha... wink.. wink..

Over Tea...

Margie arrived from the US three months ago but she went straight to Cotabato where her family resides. She is now in CDO to bond with the five of us, her barkadas (cliques) before she leaves for the US again. We have learned from her that when she was there, she has developed a taste for tea. And that she has already collected lots of blomus stainless steel teaset for the winter tea sessions with her friends there. That's actually how they fight the cold apart from the indoor heating system at her place. She also loves the blomus stainless steel fireplace set and the blomus stainless steel firepit that also helps during cold winter nights. All those winter talks make me feel cold, lol.. But of course, nothing is far better than sharing good memories during this time. Here in the Philippines, we have our own version of sitting by a campfire on a cold night drinking coffee or hot chocolate. But what we did is crazy. We had tea at her hotel room, the cold balcony witnessed and heard all our "catching up talk".. all the oohhhs and the ahhaas.. and the aaahhs... hehehe..

Catching up over tea is better than catching up over beer or hard liquor. At least we were sober all the time...lol... I miss those days when we simply sit by the canteen and munch a shared junk food, while we talked endlessly about anything and everything... Then those pajama nights at Kimmy's, Faye's or May's... Or the tutorials at our old house... The five of us really were crazy.. Then Faye went so far away... hmmm... Then we did not see each other for quite a long while... Next week, Margie is scheduled to visit her Aunts and Uncles in Cebu and from there, she will return to the US.. whew.. But of course, the Internet will connect us online for as long as we allow it..

The Ride

They had met a couple of times online and finally they decided to see each other in person. Franklin arrived at Patty's place with Boston Limos as his transportation.... If I were Patty, I would feel really important being fetched by a limousine. After all, important dignitaries have limos as their prime transportation. But because she has been exposed to the beauty and grandeur of Boston Limos, she feels not. She jokingly said she would prefer to be on a horse. A horse in the city? Well, I think my friend is utterly romantic as to want a horse for their first date...

Ironically, months after that meeting, they got engaged and finally tied the knot with a white limo as their get away vehicle after the reception, lol... Oh Patty, I thought you'd send me pictures with you and Franklin on a horse... hahaha.

LOVE A CHAMP...

Had this for brunch.. I am burping CHAMP all the way.. hehehe..

The photos are from a previous post. I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture... Darn.. Good thing I have a pic to show you.. But of course, it was even better when it was in front of me.. hahaha...

ON ROOFERS...

Angela happily announced that she is spending less on the roofer she has hired to do her roof. Apparently, she was looking for the best Austin roofer she could find and the Houston roofer her cousin Pamela hired recommended a good one for her job match. They are already almost done with her roof and she sent me pictures to give me an idea of how beautiful it looked. Well, the roof is a total head turner. I love the color. I asked her if I could use the pictures of her new roof sent on email for this post but she said she does not want my blog to ruin her surprise. I learned that her mom will be visiting her in August and Tita Bonita is apparently reading my blogs.. hahaha.. Oppsies... Oh, Tita Bonita knows about the roof job, but she does not know how they look as Angela told her to wait till she's there.. All for momma ei?

So anyway, I will not describe, I will not say anything further about the roof.. as it may ruin the surprise... But I'd like to give a clue... Hehehe.. Tita Bonita, it's closest to the favorite color of Tito Moy... kinda like... hmm.. never mind.. I'm sure it will bring out the color of your eyes when you take pictures in front of Angels' house... wink.. wink...

This is the balot vendor around the corner. Everyday, he is assisted by the trisikad drivers who give way for him to have a spot on that specific corner...

See the trisikad drivers? They are the constant customers of this vendor...lol...

This is a good example of helping each other.. hehehe..

WOW..

Bridgette loves a Grand Rapids Remodeling. She just bought a house and had it remodeled to her heart's content. The price was affordable. The work was magnificent. She has nothing to complain about. She is perhaps one of the many happy and contented patron of www.grandrapidsmiremodeling.com and believe it or not, she is even campaigning that people in her area get their services should remodeling be an option...

It was just funny because during chat, she was so happy she even included me. When I told her I am from the Philippines, she said it doesn't matter where I am, I should still consider their services. lol... I guess if I were as happy as her with the service I got I would also do the same...

Congratulations dear Bridgette...

Dance To The Beat...

Today is Friday, Night Cafe again... If you happen to pass by Mercury Drugstore, you will see these guys with their native drum set...

They play the beat very well that onlookers would want to dance to their beat...

Introducing the books written by my favorite author Amy Tan...

On Pot Racks

In American movies, I always see pot rocks like the picture on your left. They have beautiful spacious kitchens courtesy of the very smart way of designing their kitchens. Looks like every space is utilized and are fully functional. Most of us here in the Philippines have the conventional designs similar to the one on the right. Although some have built in pot racks that look nice too.

Pot racks are important in a kitchen where the cook really cooks... Can you imagine not having a pot rack to organize your wares? I can't. That's why I dream of remodeling the orange house, but of course it is just a rented space so I think I will just have to dream and dream until I have my own house. I could perhaps include enclume pot racks that would look elegant and nice in the new kitchen. An enclume pot rack never goes out of style. It is always the best functional accessory in the kitchen so far... I was told that enclume potracks can make the cook's cooking more delicious.. and why is that? Because having pots organized in them gives the cook a more heavenly feeling. And when the cook feels good, she or he puts more passion in the cooking. Would you agree? I know I would. wink.. wink..

1000 POSTS

I can't believe it. I have reached 1000 posts already on this blog.. I find it really amazing because this blog has become my lifeblood, my system of release, my therapy. WOW! 1000 posts? I just can't believe it.. but my dashboard does not lie...

Well, I just wanna say THANK YOU to all my readers and followers. Without your support guys, I don't think I could have survived blogging and distressing in the blogosphere...

MARAMING SALAMAT PO!! (THANK YOU VERY MUCH..)

PANTY HOSE & MORE

Diedre and I had been chatting for almost an hour now and she has invited Toby and Zeth for us to have a group chat. Then Amyline and Doodles followed. It was a lively chat with all new information that are quite revealing. Then popped a very interesting topic that I am not even sure really exists. Well it happened that Zeth had invited a new guy to join us and this guy, Louie, mentioned that he just finished his Pantyhose Chat. What? I was shocked and amused at the same time. How can people simply talk about pantyhose for crying out loud?.. But truly there is an explanation for that. Well, if we consider it as a site where fans of pantyhose would go to to meet other people, then surely that is what is going on there. And like most chat rooms, there are good chatters and the bad ones who may or may not influence you in one way or another...

I admire Louie's honesty when he was asked why he went to that site and he managed to tell us that people get curious sometimes.. And what better way to satisfy curiosity as doing anything or everything just to get the scoop of information desired in the first place.. . I must admit that that is new to me, and I thank God for my chat friends for helping me understand a few things about the blogosphere... well... I am just so happy I learned something new today...

Lili's New Feeding Bottle

This is my daughter's new feeding bottle. What? Yes, feeding bottle? I took the liberty of buying her a feeding bottle despite the fact that she was already weened. She stopped drinking milk via the feeding bottle at an early phase. Before she turned two, she was already taking all her milk in a glass. I thought that that was remarkable. But lately, I noticed that she had been sucking her thumb more and more and I noticed that she sucks her thumb at dawn, while she is fast asleep. So dawn today, I fed her using her feeding bottle to stop her from sucking her thumb. My theory is that perhaps the thumb sucking is due to an early weening and that probably she is hungry while asleep.. It's just a theory. And when I fed her using the bottle, she only managed 1/4 of the bottle. So maybe she is not hungry.. I see my three year old as a big girl already but judging from her age, she is not. Some children her age would even take milk form the bottle all the time..

I know I have raised her as advanced in all her "age tasks", early ween, early toilet training and everything early.. Whew.. As a Psychology graduate, I am now anxious of what psychological make up my child will have..

MOVERS MOVERS...

Shaun is moving and needs Dallas Movers urgently. But he is not worried because he knows he can easily get them to do the job he wants done. He is after all an avid fan as well as a loyal patron. He moves a lot he says and with every move, they are the people he hires for the job. He told me to inform all my friends and relative who live in the Dallas area to patronize his favorite mover. So I started telling friends and family about them. Guess what? Shaun is not the only one. My Aunt Marissa said they are the best in the entire state... Oh well, Shaun is indeed good at eying the best...

BAMBOO SHOOT GALORE

A long holiday entails family togetherness. What better way to celebrate at home than to prepare the family’s yummy feast.. Well, technically, I only prepared two dishes yesterday.. And this one is what i am sharing in this blog. The other one will be shared at the other blog, Empowered MOM.

ON ORGANIC FOOD...

When I was living in Manila, I had an Australian-Filipino friend, Rixie, who introduced me to organic food as a substitute for my daily food intake. We often go to UP Diliman Campus and eat at "Likhang Diwa", a restaurant that serves all organic foodies just around the campus. I especially like the organic rice together with "Pinaputuk na Tilapia" and the special shake that's made from organic fruits and vegetables.

Rixie has been used to eating organic food sydney when she was living in Australia. So that explains the fact that she is a lover and supporter of anything grown organically. That's fifteen years ago. I received an email from her recently and she says she now has a restaurant in Sydney that's similar to the concept of Likha Diwa.. She says she got more inspired when she met
theorganicgrocer.com.au, which is an online organic food retailer doing a widely delivery in Sydney and some other areas in Australia. I sure miss Rixie... In one way or another, she has helped me realize the benefits of eating organic food... Thanks Rix, I know you are reading this now... You go girl...

Enjoying a Long Weekend..

Today marks the city's charter day.. No Class, No Work--- definitely a holiday! Wow, we have had a very long weekend so far...Last Friday we celebrated a national holiday-- Independence Day-- so that's 4 days off from everything... But for a blogger mom who earns online, no day is ever a holiday.. tasks are everywhere and of course, I have to take them otherwise no money will come... But no regrets. I like this job.. Tomorrow though, I shall be starting again with my tutorials as my clients have informed me already that we shall resume.. And I have additional clients for my other teachers at Honeysweet... Great News indeed...

So here I am, blogging, and enjoying Lili's company at the same time.. I can't believe how much she's grown. She made a father's day card for her dad, and for Tatay... and she's doing another one for Daddy Bastian.. All in hues of green, red and blue--- Such creativity.. I shall post them when she's done..

So lemme end this post as I say, "Happy 59th Charter Day Cagayan de Oro City"... I am lovin it here... CDO Rocks!!!
