iQor Provides Financial Aid to Employees andCommunities in Need Through iQor Qares

iQor Qares is now a registered nonprofit charitable organization in the Philippines 

iQor — a managed services provider of customer engagement and technology-enabled BPO solutions — celebrates the registration of iQor Qares as a nonprofit charitable organization in the Philippines. iQor Qares is one of iQor’sCSR initiatives, focused on giving back to iQor employees and their local communities by providing financial assistance to individuals facing catastrophic or life-altering events.
“The recent registration of iQor Qares as a charitable nonprofit in the Philippines will expand our ability to help our employees, their families, and our local communities in need. Since 2019, iQor Qares has provided a total of $150,000 employee cases around the world. These donations have helped iQor employees rebuild their lives after natural disasters, care for loved ones in need of medical and end-of-life care, and address housing insecurity, as well as other life-altering events.

The creation of iQor Qares highlights iQor’s company value of the need to give back, as it encourages employees to support fellow iQorians and their communities. “At iQor, we want people to succeed in their careers as well as in other aspects of their lives. Part of that success comes from providing employees with opportunities to foster interpersonal connections and contribute to their communities. In this way, we are doing our part as Filipinos to keep our bayanihan spirit alive,” said James Down, senior director for operations.

“iQor Qares has provided assistance to 54 Filipino employees, and we have committed to help another 38 more people since registering as a nonprofit in April. More than 25% of iQor employees have pledged and donated to the Philippines, totaling 8,377 PH donors to date and this number is growing! In addition, the iQor Qares steering committee has visited our sites in Clark, Fairview, Dasmarinas, Sta. Rosa, Iloilo, Bacolod, Talisay, and Davao,” said Down.

For the past 25 years, iQor has been a steadfast presence in the Philippines, with 17 contact centers in Cavite, Davao, Iloilo, Laguna, Negros Occidental, Pampanga, and Quezon City. Thus, it's only fitting that, through iQor Qares, iQor continues to actively support the communities where they operate whenever an urgent need arises. iQor Qares remains committed to expanding support in the communities where iQor employees live and work as well as in the surrounding areas.

Schoology: The Breakthrough Classroom of the New Normal

Fujifilm Philippines partners with Shinagawa to provide better healthcare to patients using modern tech

Fujifilm Philippines, a leading provider of digital imaging and healthcare solutions, will sign a memorandum of agreement today with Shinagawa Healthcare Solutions Corporation to bring advanced technology to patients.

It will be the first Japanese standard health facility in the Philippines that focuses on preventive care.
Through the collaboration, Uehara said Fujifilm will bring its innovative equipment to Shinagawa Diagnostic and Preventive Care Center to offer quick and comfortable procedures to patients.

The Amulet Innovality is a mammogram machine designed with ergonomic armrests to ensure patient comfort and secure positioning, producing quick image intervals of just 15 seconds.
Fujifilm's FDR Smart X x-ray machine offers advanced functionality and compatibility with any X-ray system, delivering high image quality for precise and accurate results.
Meanwhile, the Arietta Series is an ultrasound machine renowned for its broad diagnostic capabilities and top-notch imaging quality, producing reliable results that help with immediate critical surgical decisions.

Innovative imaging technology

CDO WELCOMES JOHNDORF VENTURES’ ORCHARD DISTRICT

Philippine Veterans Bank invites cyclists to join Ride for Valor 2023

The Philippine Veterans Bank (PVB) invites everyone to join the Ride for Valor, a bike-for-a-cause event on March 5, 2023 to raise funds for the maintenance of the Bataan Death March markers and other World War 2 heritage sites.
Mike Villa-Real, PVB first vice president for marketing and communications, said the event, which is in partnership with the Department of National Defense, Philippine Veterans Affairs Office, Provincial Government of Bataan and Wartime Heritage Guild-Philippines, aims to preserve the legacy of Filipino and American soldiers who fought for freedom and democracy during World War 2.
The Bataan Death March is a somber reminder of the bravery and selflessness of Filipino veterans during the Second World War. It is an essential part of Philippine history and culture, and the Ride for Valor is an important way of honoring the veterans and preserving their legacy. Plus rider get to learn more about this
historic event as they will be be traversing the actual route of the Death March; he said.
The ride is open to fully vaccinated cyclists and all types of bikes with brakes.
Villa-Real said the event will start at 6 a.m. from the Kilometer Zero in Mariveles, Bataan, to Capas National Shrine in Tarlac.
The non-competitive bike ride will have four pitstops: Mt. Samat, Balanga Provincial Capitol’s The Bunker, San Fernando Train Station, and Angeles Museum. Giveaways will be given in selected pitstops.
Villa-Real said participants may ride at their own pace, adding there will be a 12-hour cut-off during thee vent.
He noted that the event will also implement a ;No Helmet, No Ride; policy to ensure the safety of the participants.
Villa-Real also said a mechanic will be available to help those who encounter mechanical difficulties, while roving marshals will be present to keep track of the riders; progress. Support vehicles are allowed, but riders should only ride in the vehicle if they choose to drop out of the event.
The registration fee for the Ride for Valor is P1,000, which includes an official event shirt, a race bib, at rucker cap, a loot bag, an e-certificate, and meals.

Participants may also register onsite at RD Cycles Libis Branch and RD Cycles Timog Branch.
Those who will join the bike ride must download the Traqs Philippines app to enter the event.

brutality of Japanese captors. The markers serve as reminders of the tragedy and heroism that occurred
during that period.

Sterling Bank of Asia's (SBA) annual CSR Activity, tagged as Kind Heart Gives, turns green this year as they conducted an environmental initiative at Masungi Georeserve in Baras, Rizal.
Masungi Georeserve is an award-winning conservation project dedicated to conserving the Masungi landscape in Baras, Rizal. Joined by 50 SBA employees, the activity allowed them to participate in the reserve’s "Nurture-a-Grove" reforestation campaign.
