Lawyering

In the recent bar exams result, a friend of ours was listed as one of the new lawyers of the Philippines. But then, their family is about to migrate, so I am wondering if he will be one of the personal injury attorneys tucson...hehehe.. Well actually, his lawyering is technically applicable only here in the Philippines, unless he studies lawyering there, and apply laws accordingly. And that process will be much more difficult as well as time consuming... and a bolder move too. Besides, I think he will be back... Opportunities come, but it is up to us how to use them, or to accept them as they come.. I am sure our friend will make a great decision, whatever he will choose.

Professional Network...

My friend Faith told me I should create my page in Linked in. She says it's similar to our social networking sites, but only for professional purposes. Accordingly, a lot of employers would use Linked in as basis for character reference as well as professional backgrounds. Not only a page for individuals can be created there, but business and groups can do so. Faith showed me a few examples and Personal Creations linked in is one of them.. Cool!

But then, I am not seeking employment anywhere else. I guess I should just leave things accordingly to how they have been placed.. Important thing is that, I am beside my daughter so I can support her in her grade school endeavors in June...so help me God! hehehe

Mudpack anyone?

I guess it was my life's mission to look for something to get rid of whiteheads as well as black heads. I never had any problem with pimples or acne. But whiteheads? Gosh! I am still conscious about them till now.. I have tried using cream or soaps, even facials, but nothing seemed to work. Then I discovered a mudpack from Liole, a beauty product from Korea. I love it. I bought it at one of the shopping sites that give out samples in Singapore area. When I was staying in Singapore, I have received lots of samples and Liole was one of them. Loved the mudpack so much that I bought a tube for thrity Singaporean dollars.. Never mind the price, as it is really good..

Pasalubong Counters

In every tourist spot that we visited, there were Pasalubong Shops or Gift Shops selling all kinds of items. They are not only exclusive to pasalubong items, but they also sell food items, even HTC accessories, batteries and flashlights and even make up.. Yup, make up.. I would understand if there were towels and toiletries, but make up? Amyway, I think a need have been met, to those who needed make up-- hehehe

I bought a new Sarong, or wrap around cloth that can be used in so many ways.. There were two types and I chose the more expensive one as I was already drenched when I bought it. My purpose was to cover my wet clothing, without leaving any discoloration in the wet clothes..

Camiguin During the Holy Week..

When we went around Camiguin during the Holy Week, there were lots of people with vehicles climbing the steep uphill climb going to the beautiful tourist destinations. I wonder if some vehicle owners have registered their RVs with rv insurance, as well as all the other kinds of vehicles..

And speaking of vehicles, my aunt and uncle's vehicle was # 194 in coming here, even though they started falling in line before sunrise, all the way from Butuan City..   I can not believe how Holy Week had become a season to enjoy instead of  the usual Holy Week activities.. Of course, most people include the visits to tourist attractions alongside the Panaad, or the trek to the mountain for prayer..

Katibawasan Falls

Yesterday we went to Katibawasan Falls and enjoyed a really rich site.. I guess my cousins have stopped thinking about tech jobs, medicines and summer classes.. hehehe.. Well, see for yourself...

The sight of the waterfalls is really something to make your eyes open wider and your jaw to drop.. hehehe.. Go down and enjoy the water.. Boy, it was so cold.. But the dip was really enjoyable.. Too bad there were too many people at around eleven.. We reached the place at eight, and enjoyed the cold waters with fewer people.. when we thought it to be too crowded, we left.. But before we went unto our vehicle, we bought souvenirs and Kiping--- hehehe...

Praying with Jesus' Disciple, and Thoughts on the RH Bill..

Yesterday, the thirteen disciples of Jesus went around the island to pray in every home. They are actually re-living what had been done ages ago, during the time that Jesus was still alive..Good thing about these men who are dressed accordingly, is that they will ask families to gather and pray with them. Of course, they just have to identify the household where they are welcome.. My cousin's niece was the one who entertained the man and well, he lead the prayer.. So timely, and so nice, a gesture..

I think it is the church's initiative to bring people closer to God and the church.. I just hope the sermons during mass will not revolve solely around the church's stand against the RH Bill, and its personal commentaries against its supporters should stop as it is NOT at all spiritually healthy... It would be like using a barcode scanner on items that do not have the proper coding-- uhm.. You know what I mean... I support the RH Bill because I believe it will make life better for our children.. Besides, it would be a moral issue if parents are NOT able to give full attention, support and love to each child, as it is parents' responsibility to give and do what's best for the children.. If there are too many of them, none of them will be given enough..

E for Espesyal nga Ensaymada

This is my entry for this week's meme...

One time, I bought this Espesyal nga Ensaymada from Steven's at the Gaisano Mall.. Because it is special, it was priced more than the regular Ensaymada.. But for me, I do not find it as better tasting.. So it's not really a good buy for me.. Never bought it again.. I would rather get Special Ensaymada from another bread shop..

Our Holy Week Plans

My cousin and I went to an Internet cafe to have some documents printed, but when we reached the cafe, they didn't have any. No hp printers, not even an ordinary printer... So we had to send the documents soft copy online and have a friend of hers print them somewhere.. Anyway, she will need them after the Holy Week yet, so no worries... In the meantime, we shall all have a solemn lenten season.. Me, Lili and River spending it here in Camiguin.. We plan to join the group who will go around the island for the Via Crucis.. But I am still thinking hard enough, considering that the two may not be able to sustain the walking.. But of course, we can rest in between... That's it for now.. River wants us to bath at the cold spring or hot spring again.. Well, we'll see...

Changing Hairdressers

Tomorrow is the day of my sister's graduation, so yesterday we went and had her haircut, and this afternoon our nails done.. After the haircut yesterday, we realized that she lost some weight, not that she has experienced adderall weight loss, but perhaps it's because of the style of her hair.. according to her hairdresser, there are some hair styles that contribute to how we will look.. That is why some celebrities would only hire those who know these methods and processes for hair styling... Of course, if one can afford it, why not.. I think I am gonna switch hair dressers too..
