He's out there somewhere, under the lover's moon...

My all time favorite song... Loved this since elementary years, with a minute understanding of love and loving. Now, at 33, I still love the song mainly because it grows on me... And am still waiting for him... he who waits for me under the lover's moon...

BUSY... BUSY...

Today is going to be a very busy day for me... I rest all my cares to God...

I have the controversial meeting to attend to at school. I have the hearing at 2pm. Oh my goodness... I do not wish to see him anymore, but for the case, I have to... whew....

I am calm. Breathe in... breathe out...

Thank you Lord, Thy will be done...

Your Children are not Your Children (© Kahlil Gibran, 1923, 1973.)

They are the sons and daughters of life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,

which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.

You may strive to be like them,

but seek not to make them like you.

For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.

THE BORED LOOK:

MEET BIG BEAUTIFUL WOMEN...

If you consider yourself BIG & BEAUTIFUL, then I am inviting you to join us in the bbw chat rooms my girlfriends and I frequent. It is a fun place to be. You will be able to meet many people from all races, from all walks of life, and you will not feel discriminated because all of us there will make sure you feel at home. Gone are the days where chat rooms are said to have exclusivity for those who are on the narrow side. Big beautiful women also can boast of the place we can all our own.

My friend Fiel met the most wonderful woman in this chat site. So maybe, if romance is what you are looking for, then maybe you can find it there. If it's networking for business contacts or plain friendships, all the more you can be assured of finding it there. A good friend of mine, Felize, found her ever loyal secretary from the site as well...

Hmmm.. Not that I am campaigning for people to be able to find other people, but think of the fun you will be able to experience while there... Sign up is free, so what are you waiting for? Join us today. Visit www.bbwchatcity.com for more details.

REALTORS

If you are planning to buy properties, better contact a realtor for help. A realtor is equipped with all the information as to availability of good sites, costing and even help in the paper works for the properties bought. Here in Cagayan de Oro, we have so many known realty agents and realtors and you have many to choose from. All boasts of the quick and easy service they can guarantee. Hmm... you may be wondering why I am posting this here. Well, I am not in the process of buying a property, it's just that I have read about the good Austin Realtors and what I read gave me inspiration for this post... hehehe...

If you are curious about what I read, visit the site at www.austinrealestateagency.net, and see for yourself. Who knows you may be inspired to purchase a property from them, lol... Wish I could though... Well, we'll get there somehow.. and I willsurely blog about it when that time comes...

LOOK AT ME MOM...

Here are other photos of Lili:

The Model Pose?

T2??? Hahaha...

How about this?

DATING A SINGLE MOM

Have you ever tried dating single mom? Hmm... What's the difference? I mean, hey, we single moms are no different than the regular single ladies, right? LOL.. Not being defensive here. Sure, our lives maybe complicated, but we are one and the same as a woman ought to be. So there is no reason to close doors for dating for all single moms. We deserve a life of happiness too. wink..wink...

Anyway, I am not posting this to be defensive or to argue with someone. I am posting this because I have met a few good people in a new site I was in. Sign up is free, so there is no reason why you shouldn't try it. Try visiting www.localsinglemoms.com, and learn from all the single moms there. Apart from myself, I am sure you too will be convinced that a single mom is really a superwoman...a great catch... hahaha...

SHOCKED LOOK???

This is one of Lili's funny poses...sharing it here:

CRYO-CELL AND LILI

We have heard so much about Cryo-Cell and all the wonderful things associated with it. Founded in 1992, Cryo-Cell has been helping families preserve the newborn's umbilical cord blood for potential use against many diseases. Along with cord blood banking, Cryo-Cell Cord Blood Bank is also pioneering the research to find more solutions to preserve stem cells in the most humane way possible. It is always believed that cord blood is just the first step in new medical advancements. Cord blood banking provides more opportunities for the child to grow healthy and free from any diseases.

My daughter Zarelle has always been my inspiration. She is my life. I do not know what I will do if something bad happens to her, God forbid! So with this information about all the good that Cryo-Cell is doing, I am really happy. There is so much good in cord blood banking as it opens doors for further research. Such research can best benefit our children, mainly because they are the future. With all the new updates, it is them who will benefit. So we parents should be guided accordingly. Personally, I think it is selfish if we hinder our child’s chance at a better life. Our children deserve a healthy life that is free from diseases, pain and all other negativeness associated with poor health.

Here's a testimonial I have read that really touches my heart:

"My children are the most precious gifts that I will ever have and I want to do everything I can to make sure they are well. While I was pregnant with my first child, I would see articles and ads about cord blood and it bothered me that it was so expensive but what if I one day needed this blood. The reality of having only one chance or it really went in the garbage kept me wondering if I would regret not investing. What if he had cancer or his dad or I were sick, would that blood have been the cure? Through research, I came across Cryo-Cell International, Inc., a company with the most reasonable rates and the assurance of two holding facilities.

When I was pregnant with my second child, we wondered if one bank was enough? Finances were tighter and should we spend the money? Then we realized that his brothers blood might not match for the new baby. The next day, stories were breaking about how Cord blood had saved or changed the lives of children, one cancer, one cerebral palsy. Then we discovered that a friend was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma. He didn't bank his daughters blood and wished he had. Three years prior, I lost a friend to renal cancer when she was 29. We felt like it was our answer.

We are just beginning to see miracles that this blood can bring. We have two "life insurance policies", that is how we look at it. If anyone in the family gets ill, there is a chance that the blood could save our lives. If we don't use it, then it is there for our son's children."

Sincerely,
mother of Parker and Davis

By the way, Cryo-Cell is giving away a free Baby Bjorn when you enroll by April 19, 2009. That's a limited offer...

RELEASING BAD ENERGY

It is very important that after a session of reflexology, the therapist releases the bad energy obtained from the contact between the therapist and the patient. So like what this person is doing, bad energy is released to protect the therapist. It is said that bad energy that is not released will cause the therapist to slow down and feel weary and heavy, as said bad energy will then be transferred in the therapist's body instead, when in fact it was originally from the patient.

STABLE INTEREST

I was informed that Stable Interest is the most profitable investment these days. The project StableInterest.com had been working since 2006 has proved to be the most profitable investing opportunity online now. It has been launched by a team of professional traders and analysts for those who want to work from home or should we call them, the money online home seekers. Hmm... They offer reliable and long-term opportunity for online investors. And if one enjoys the free life, the good life, and is willing to get rich getting the second income source, then, what they are offering is the very right place for you to be. StableInterest will be your home based business. You will earn money from home. Getting 102% income in 60 days is not a problem if you join their online investing opportunity.

General Contractors

My classmate in high school is now a full pledged Engineer and a general contractor. He and his wife built their company from scratch and is now one of the many competent contractors in this city. One time we saw each other, he told me that he will give me a discount should I need the services of his company. Oh well, that would be a long time yet. A week has passed and as I am browsing the net and read about San Francisco general contractors, I was reminded of his offer. I told myself that my classmate is generous because God has also showered him with his generosity. That's a good thing.

Anyway, I saw some of his works in one of the albums he has compiled at two of the social networks we belong to and I could say he could definitely compete. Basing on what I have read at www.sanfranciscogeneralcontractors.net, Bobby can definitely compete.

The site, sanfranciscogeneralcontractors.net, has all the information there is in finding the best contractor for your projects in San Francisco. But when in Cagayan de Oro, I can always recommend my classmate Bobby.

INTERRACIAL CHAT ROOMS

I have been into interracial chat rooms and I find that my network has really grown. Most of my friends who visit my blog are from those sites I go to to chat and meet people who likes to make friends and build networks themselves.

People from walks of life, from all races are welcome there. Not to mention the fact that sign up is free.

I remember my friend Stella, when I invited her to sign up, said that she is not comfortable with the idea because she fears being rejected and discriminated. Now, after four months of chatting, she happily told me she met someone through the said connection. Oh, I am so happy for her. She has found her soulmate. I think it is not only her who found soulmates online. I think there are many people who did. See, the sites are really helpful in finding what you are looking for. LOL.. Way to go people....

As for me, I am happy also, because I have met so many business associates and contacts online thorugh this medium. Well, like what I said previously, though chat, you do not only find romance and friendship, but a whole lot more...

DONATE $1 & SAVE A LIFE

MARYJEAN RANALAN BACORRO was featured in the past blog posts of my other blog, Empowered Mom. She is a fellow Atenean suffering from kidney failure. And because life is hard, it takes a long while before she could get her kidney transplant.

How I chanced upon her sister outside the MOTHER'S HOUSE is God's will. She handed me a letter, Mary Jean's solicitation letter for financial support. I could not give her anything that day except the last P 50.00 I have in my pocket. So I told her I am going to help her in anyway I can. So I blogged about it. Luckily, Soul Anchor of The Balance Between the Soul and My Humanity read my blog and immediately, she sent for help. It was so good that God's calling is answered immeasurably. Mary Jean's need was answered with Soul Anchor's help. God bless her abundantly for that. And what I really like about it is that, she personally gave her help to Mary Jean. That adds up to giving Mary Jean the moral support she needs, apart from the financial side of all these.

As the official VDAY Community Organizer for VDAY Worldwide Campaign here in Cagayan de Oro City, I decided to include Mary Jean as one of our beneficiaries. I was so happy with the output of my blogpost. Unfortunately, with VDAY 2009 coming, we can not yet give Mary Jean the help she needs, as the process follows that I shall give out the beneficiary's share after everything is done--the shows and event activities, fund raising and information drive. That will still be middle of next year. Mary Jean's need is immediate. The one thing I can not address now. So I came with the $1 DRIVE TO SAVE A LIFE. A fund raising campaign for Mary Jean's immediate needs. I have designated a paypal donation button for that and ALL WHO WISH TO SHARE THEIR BLESSINGS will only have to donate $1.00. That is not too much, I think. I mean, we bloggers have our won means of earning online, speaking for myself that is. But seriously, it won't hurt a bit.

Anyway, if any of you wish to participate, simply click this link and make your donation there. And don't forget to LEAVE A COMMENT & YOUR LINK.

Thank You so much and May God Bless us All...

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

I LOVE SHOES...

I love shoes. When I was yet free from motherhood responsibilities, my income mostly goes to bags and shoes. They are my weakness. Shoes specially...lol.... I specially like sexy heels and juicy couture flats, strap or thong sandals and slip-ons, simple or complicated designs, whatever tickles my fancy. I usually go shopping for shoes at the malls and most of the time I find comfortable shoes at discounted prices. That is a good find. But there are times that I find a pair or two that is not on sale, and because my money is all mine at that time, I am able to buy them anyway... Now, well, most of the shoe shopping experience is for my little girl. Which is funny because I usually look for shoes for me, but I end up promising myself to buy the pair on the next payday, especially if my princess has already found herself the pair/s she likes...

Anyway, I still like shoes. I love shoes. In fact, it is a known fact that women, including me, no matter how tight the budget, can still be able to collect a few kinds of shoes. What with all the varied activities that women do. From work shoes to party shoes, to malling or the carefree type. When I am online, I still shop for shoes. Window shop that is, hehehe... And well, when I find something I like and see that my budget is OK, then I am able to get myself something. Of course, if and only if the price is reasonable enough... I am really amazed that you can really find good quality shoes online. One time I browsed through JildorShoes.com, I was totally overwhelmed by their designs. I looked and looked at other places online and well, the reaction is the same. I must be addicted to shoes. Lol... Well, what do you think?

Point of the matter is.. I love shoes. I guess all of us women do.

FOR SAFETY'S SAFE

I have read something really good about Yamaha today. It says that the company has recently recalled more of its Rhino Side by Side (SxS) ATV vehicles due to rollover risk. The rollovers are said to have caused serious injuries to numerous riders which has prompted lawsuits. My oh my... That is really bad, isn't it? The common injuries include broken legs (tibia), broken arms, and devastating head and spinal cord injuries. It was said that the Rhino's propensity to roll over has been blamed on it's high center of gravity and narrow wheel base. Tsk.. tsk..tsk... and many Rhinos did not come with doors on the passenger compartment, so, when the Rhino rolls the passenger sticks their leg out to try and balance the vehicle. Sadly, the passenger or the driver will typically be unable to balance the vehicle and it rolls over crushing the driver's or passenger's leg. And you know what happens next...

It is truly remarkable when companies think about the safety and enjoyment of their clients. I think its a good business etiquette to see first what the client's can get, whether it's the enjoyment of the product or the safety of the client while using the product, or how the client will be productive with the use of the product that makes a good business work. Accidents can be avoided when companies take the same initiative that Yamaha has done. With that, I salute them for thinking more of the people rather than their business. Less accidents for the riders, lawsuits avoided. But I am pretty sure with its recall of the said vehicle, Yamaha will make something better and more accident free vehicles in the future.

The Yamaha Rhino Rollover issues may affect Yamaha's business today but I am pretty sure that the selfless act of recalling the said product will make them a better company, and will be known to its clients for its concern for the client's welfare and safety...

THANK GOD FOR FRIENDS

Here's a photo of me and two of my good friends for life...

Franny and Egee, sisters in the International Order of Jobs Daughters, sisters for life...

HOT AFTERNOONS...

The orange house badly needs air conditioning. Well, technically, I need someone who will put the air condition back to where it should be placed. Instead, it is just simply sitting in the terrace. Every afternoon, it is so warm inside. You could just imagine how much sweat we all produce with just 30 minutes inside our room, especially on hot afternoons. If we wanted to sleep, we could not help but prevent ourselves to take the afternoon nap due to the very warm condition of our room.

Whew....

Anyway, if anyone here is also having the same problem with the weather, do check www.aircon247.com, and choose the air-conditioning that's right for you and your family/friends.

It really helps when you have the right tool to combat the excessive heat...

Commercial Mailboxes

Have you ever thought of getting Commercial Mailboxes for your company's needs? Well, here is what I can recommend. In getting a Commercial Mailbox, it is best that you get from a reliable source. And the best place to get one is at www.mailboxixchange.com, where you will be able to find the best designs, sizes and shapes. Not to mention the security features of the said Commercial Mail boxes that they offer. You will really be amazed at how much security your documents will have. It will really be a value for your money.

Most companies have a problem with communications. Some say that their mails, especially if they are still doing it the old fashioned snail mail, will definitely be at risk of loss, once communications or documents are not delivered at the correct box. Or worse, it was delivered but got stolen. And I am talking about those communications that could not only raise eyebrows, they could even wake the dead. So it is best that they be kept safe from the unwanted hands.

Commercial mail boxes will definitely work wonders fro you and your company. So please visit their website today, and find out more information there. Surely they will come in handy. Oh and here's teh best part of all,
they have an affiliate program where participants are paid $20.00 for signing up.

You may sign up on the link below:

I NEED A PLUMBER

The pipe broke and I need a plumber badly. But I am alone here. With no phone and no other person to send help. Plus I have the green man who keeps popping in...UGH!!! :( So I simply took it easy, tied the pipe together and sent a text message to my sister via chikka. No response yet. While waiting I tried to find myself salvation, but like my previous searches, no Cagayan de Oro plumbers. All I found is a Roxboro plumber, hehehe.. I really need to have this pipe fixed.

It really is a good idea to have a number of a plumber and all other home problem solutions handy at all times. Like having a family doctor, when something is wrong with the house, someone is ready to be called anytime, and every time something like this happens.

UGH!!n This is definitely a very bad day for me. sob..sob...sob... But, thinking of the bright side, this will all go away... I know they will...

Baking Cake Online...

Besa said her birthday is near... so Zarelle told her that she will make her a birthday cake... And she did... hahaha... Enjoy the cake and the game below... Lili loves this cake making game so much...

A chat site for differently abled persons

A friend of mine who I met at one of my chat sites, invited me to be in a handicapped chat room. At least that's what he called it. To me, being a person with a background in Special Education, I prefer that he call it a chat site for persons who are differently-abled. Oh well, the important thing is that there is a place for them online, to mingle and make friends, and find romance and all other necessary networks of support.

Personally, I do not see them as different. I live in the premise that all people are created equal, hence, all have equal opportunities. It is in the person now how he or she will find means for his possibilities. But of course, we have to find where we will grow, where we will learn. Signing up in this chat room helped me in knowing persons better, regardless of their special need. I am learning and growing. I am thankful for having signed up in the site. I could say, life is fuller and I am more inspired to live my life, and give the world what I could share. I guess life is like that. It's simply a matter of give and take...

Double Trouble, The Toilet Bubbles.. Hahaha...

Today is perhaps the worst day of my life... My LBM and headaches have come to worst, and I am frantic about everything that needed to be done.. UGH!!! Plus nothing is able to pass my esophagus except oatmeal... I am afraid to eat... I hate seeing that green monster in the toilet... UGH!!

I need a savior... but then again, I have myself for that.. I will save myself...hahaha... Thank you God for giving me strength to go on... I thank Mam Helen and Auntie Irma also.. They are my angels without wings.... And Bessa too...

Although, I must tell you, at this current state, blessings came in threefold.. Thank You LORD...

CREDIT CARDS

My friend Uriel loves to collect credit cards. He says, for him, it is the most convenient and economical way to spend. Hmm. I partly agree. But only if your source of income is stable. And not one which is unstable. Having a credit card is really a convenient way to shop or purchase anything and everything, where credit is acceptable. When my grandmother, Lola Viating died, I was overdraft. I had only arrived in Manila in the morning, went to the office, came home and slept half the night, when a phone call was received by my Tito Ben and at dawn I was informed that Lola Viating passed away. What I did? I gathered enough clothes and headed to the airport for the first flight. I did not have money. I had my Citibank Visa so I was confident to get my ticket for Cagayan de Oro again. I arrived and went straight to Greenhills, where she was to have her wake. It was as easy as that. The ticket I bought was roundtrip, so I was already saved for my return flight to Manila aweek after.

Credit cards are really very convenient. But if we talk about the economical side, hmm.. it depends on your monetary power. My Tita Gina and Tito Ben usually buys stuff using their Metrobank MasterCard and they pay before the due date. Tita Gin says, they are able to save that way. Because paying before the due date does not entail a burdensome interest.

Personally, what I did not like about having a credit card is the temptation. Everything is just a swipe away... Hmm.. but of course, a wise buyer will always know when to buy...

The fun part of having a credit card are the rewards. Hehehe... That part I like best... I was able to get myself an electronic diary with Citibank... I just love it... But finally I had to cut it down since, I find it easier to save if I do not have a credit card. Poor resistance to temptation? Not really...I just did not have a stable source of money to pay up for it, so I had to let it go...More practical right???

SAD STORY

I was so shocked at the news tonight about Ted Failon's wife... And the saddest part of all, people have made the incident look more like a feast for stories of sorts...

For the latest Philippine news stories and videos, visit GMANews.TV

Do you think Ted is guilty??? Hmmm... I do not know him. But he is one of the best anchors of ABS CBN. I watch him in the news all the time. I am so sad about what happened. Quite unbelievable... I just hope everything will turn out fine...

HVAC

I have read today about Omaha HVAC contractors. What is that? HVAC is short for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning, and of course the contractors specified are from Omaha. Their job is to take care of installing and maintaining the climate control equipment in your very home or business. Hehehe, I also did not get that when I first read about them, lol...

I learned from what I read that it is really helpful if you can protect your assets and investments by getting a good HVAC contractor. Of course this is what everybody wants right? Investments full and intact. Untouched by time or insects or molds. But if you have hired a contractor that does not know what he is doing, chances are the very thing you fear will totally destroy your assets. Not to mention, keep you uncomfortable while in your abode.

So, if you are wise, get a contractor, do visit the site www.omahahvac.org, and find out more about HVAC contractors. It's about time to contact the best one...

NICK ACA

I took this video during one of the workshops our theater group had. It was a very good workshop conducted by my very own sister, Honey. It was also during this workshop that I met Nick Aca. A very down to earth, humble but multi-talented person. He is a visual artist venturing into the performing arts. But what I have on video is another talent of Nick which I find really unique. Imagine a person can whistle and create unique sounds and tunes by simply whistling? Hmmm... Very extraordinary... I have not found any other person who can do that...

Anyway, Nick Aca was also the one who designed our set during THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES of VDAY 2008. And his interpretation of TVM is that of birth and rebirth... If you have seen the show you will really be amazed at how it was depicted. It was rather a bold move, yet truthful in the very sense of the message of the show. Nick has joined many national and international competitions to which his art work wins the trophy or comes out as a runner up. Indeed this is very promising. But what I specifically like about Nick is his character. Even with his accomplishments, he has remained humble and grounded. I salute you dear friend...

Oh, by the way, we were supposed to record a better video on his "Whistle", but unfortunately, I have not seen Nick anymore. He is probably very busy being one of the curators of the museum at CU...

Some stories about Nick Aca can be found at Sunstar.com.ph, some written by Kelly Ramos-Palaganas of the Mindanao Current, and some of his art works can be found at the site of Gabs Medina at gabsmedina.com, and of course some street performances of Nick Aca can be found online. Oh, he also has one story written by ABS CBN...an environmental protest that he did where he dressed in nothing but white paint while pushing a cart full of mud from one of CDO's flashfloods.. Way to go Nick... Visual Arts & Performing Arts combined...plus a heart for nature... I am pretty sure you have really made a statement during that event.

SINGLE PARENTS RENDEZVOUZ

My cousin Eve invited me to join a single parent chat room. At first I was hesitant, but like all the chat rooms I visited, it's a good place to meet wonderful people. Except for the fact that most people who go there are single parents. Not necessarily for romance or companionship but for all sorts of reasons.

I was able to chat with a doctor named Robert, but he prefers me to call him, Bobby. And he is actually looking for someone who could do medical transcriptions for him. Cool! My cousin told me most of that chat rooms like this serve so many purpose other than finding a mate, as how most people think sites like this exists for. I agree with her. Like all the rest of the sites I visit, I go there for networking. You will be surprised at how much you will learn from all these people you meet in the chat rooms.

I am glad I was able to sign up for this single parent chat room. See, I have picked a parenting technique or two from the new friends I found... Go Go Go... www.singleparentchatcity.com is the site for all single parents!!

Adding A Google Gadget

My aunts and cousins are now asking me how to make their site lively like mine, according to them, hehehe...I told them they just have to add widgets and gadgets and everything else that they will need. And of course, how to do? I have found an instruction on youtube... sharing it here.... hope this is good enough...

ON DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS

I always think a Distance Relationship do not work. Well, I know I am wrong. Maybe because of bad experiences in the past that I have arrived at that conclusion. But I know it really is a matter of the people involved and the commitment of these two persons to each other and to the relationship. What they are willing to put into the relationship and what they are willing to lose. Hmm.. But I must tell you, if you are in a distance relationship, it's double the labor, double the love and understanding. Whew... But sometimes there are just some things that you can not understand. Now, good for some people who have a lot of shoulders to cry...lol.. and I mean lots... but what about those who do not have any? What if the person involved in a distance relationship is not able to open up to any body. Emotions eat us up especially if we keep them to ourselves. Do you agree?

Anyway, here's a website I found that is specifically helpful in that resolve. Well, I was browsing through and I chanced upon Waiit.com, a website designed for people who may be in a distance relationship. The good part is that there are situations covered in the discussions that one can definitely share his thoughts and help another in the process. Well, maybe you should visit the site and sign up to see for yourself...

TRIP TO THE CARMELITE MONASTERY

Lili and I went to church at The Carmelite Monastery. Here are some pictures we took.. My little girl really enjoyed it there... including the food we were able to get, lol...

Remodeling The Orange House???

The orange house is really an ideal place to make a home. However with normal wear and tear, the house needs remodeling. Not the expensive kind for drastic changes, but perhaps just enough to accentuate the beauty of the house. But of course, at this point in time, I need to consider so many things. One, that it is just a rented space and not mine, but still I need to care for it. Two, that if have to have it remodeled, I will be spending lots and lots of money, which I could be using for some other necessary stuff... So okay, the idea may just be blurry right now, but I cant help but scout and search and find a contractor or two... Much to my amazement, there are lots online. But not here in Cagayan de Oro City. I wanted someone from this city, instead, I found one for Kansas City Remodeling... hehehe... Anyway, I went through their site and I am totally impressed.Oh well, any chance of bringing CDO to Kansas City, lol... Just kidding...

Having a good contractor is really a good investment. Finding one may seem difficult but of course, some of the good ones are just a click away... As for me, I received a text message from my long time friend and business contact, Allyn, that she knows a good contractor here in this city. She even sent me a business card of Ollie... Hmmm... Now I have the name and number, but I need to talk with the owner of the house first. Our arrangement was that, any improvement on the house will be deducted from my rent. Remodeling seems a huge idea. A big leap...a very big step which entails lots of money. He might not like the idea because then, he will be receiving less of the rent... Well, we'll see... It's for his house anyway...

AN UNEXPECTED CALL...

Got off the phone after a very long phone conversation--- ED. I wish it was easier for people to get involved without having to think of the consequences of their actions...

I did not expect that he'd call again... after all, I told him that we should stop communicating. But of course, we are still friends so what's the point in not talking. He said he missed me terribly. I do too. Especially because he listens to me and makes me talk my feelings out without judging me or telling me that I should stop... He never tells me to stop talking when I have so much to say... Hmmm... Now I am thinking of his proposal again...

With these games that "you know who" is playing, I might as well play his game too. But--- I am not like him. I do not play with people's emotions. Especially because I know what's going on between each of our lives. Well, like the way we used to, he poured everything out... My oh my... we are not using SUN... it must be expensive... When we ended the call, I felt like crying. Ed do not deserve whatever he is going through now.. He deserves to be happy.... I wish I could teach him how to be happy. Because quite frankly, I am happy now. I am at peace. I can say to all of my detractors that their game is useless and pointless because it just doesn't hurt me anymore...I know the truth... And all they are doing now just makes me laugh... I wish I could show you guys the pictures they have uploaded on friendster to prove my point... But I am not like them.. I will not stoop so low as to level myself with them. My life is full. I am too busy for such nonsense... But never too busy to talk to a friend in need... Dear God, please take away his pain... Amen...

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE...

ON MOTHERHOOD...

Blogger friend Earthlingorgeous wrote an entry that really caught my attention..."How will my child be able to survive when I am gone?" That's actually a typical question that would hit every mom on this planet.. or maybe even those from Mars or Venus or from the other galaxies... geez... Mother's worry even when their kids have already reached 50... I should know. I have witnessed how my grandmothers were to their kids... Although, Earth's concern is different, since her little girl is special. Still I know, such worry is common, whether our kids are diagnosed with a special need or so... So, I responded it with the comment below:

you know, as a mom, that is also my worry. It's really different when the child's mother is you... it's just so so different... like I remember a story about a mom whose child was kidnapped by bandits who fled to the mountains. The authorities, when it neared midnight already gave up the search and rescue operation, so what did the mother do? She climbed up the mountain all by herself... And up there, she bargained and pleaded, until the leader of the pack took pity on her and let the child go...

When they finally came down, everyone was amazed at how the mother could have done it. Her answer was simple... "I am this child's mother!"

Sharing it here because I know it's not only Earth and me who worry about our kids... I know most do, but with lots and lots of prayers, and FAITH....we mommies can be assured God's hand will be our guiding light...

REFLEXOLOGY WORKSHOP SLIDESHOW

In my previous post about our Reflexology Workshop Graduation, I did mention that the pictures are not complete yet. Did I? Hmm... Well, maybe I did, maybe I did not... but hey, below is the slide show for all the pics I was able to gather during that event... enjoy...

DIRECT TV OPTIONS

Wow.. Seems that these days Direct TV is really getting popular than ever. I was just browsing online and I found that, you can actually select Direct TV Options online, for your Direct T V programs. Isn't that wonderful?

You can actually choose from those programs you think are important for you and those that are not. At www.mytvoptions.com, you can actually answer a survey that helps you determine whether to use Cable, Direct TV or Dish TV, and what options may best benefit you and your needs for TV entertainment. But of course, if you are a fan of Direct TV like me, your foremost concern would be if your area has Direct TV and what programs are available. Right? So if that is the case, the site is much helpful. Options are really good. It is always best to have something to choose from.

Knowing your options always helps, especially if our aim is to have the entertainment we deserve and value for the money we spend. Right? So I am inviting you guys to check your options and know what you want, what you need, and how much money you can save. Visit their site right now...

THE BIRD...

Since we moved in the orange house, this incident kept repeating... I guess this has something to do with the big glass on the wall that birds think are open spaces, but when they try to fly into it they simply bump and fall... But of course, since the house is quite big for a bird to fly in and out, they are free, and soon can freely find their way.. Oh birds... tsk tsk tsk...

HOLYWEEK COMFORT

A lot of people have planned to travel for the Holy Week. Some simply goes out of town, hopping on a different island. And still others would really go out of their way for a pilgrimage to the holy land. Of course, they are those who has set aside a lot of savings for the trip. What with the airfare, the hotels for accommodations and the food while there. Of course, when in Rome, they can simply get a Rome apartment for a cheaper or more affordable accommodation. Of course, if the money is really oozing from the bank, they can also have a side trip to Paris perhaps... and be accommodated in Hotel paris for a more restful and comfortable stay. And of course anyone can get a reservation online. Reservation is free. There are also bed and breakfast accommodations like Paris Hotel for back packers and budget travelers.

But for most of us who are still surviving and thriving with a tight budget, we stay where we are for the Holy week. Like, me and Lili stayed here at the orange house, went to church when it's time for church and come home afterward. Hmm.. Maybe someday when we could already afford, she and I can tour distant places... It's not the place anyway.. It's the heart that is ready for Lent that's important...

Hope you guys had a blessed Holy Week... And tomorrow, Easter, may we all have a new life in Christ's love...

As for me, I have surrendered my pain and all negative emotions to God... I am moving forward... But don't get me wrong, I am not withdrawing the case... legal battles are not included, lol... Although, I have forgiven him and his family for what they have done to me and Zarelle...still, justice need to be served...

CHURCH VISITS: STATION OF THE CROSS

Here is the promised slide show for our church visitation. What should have been 14 churches was narrowed down to seven. We had a little girl with us so we should consider the time. But of course, Zarelle enjoyed every moment during the visits...

And of course, she had her personal intentions too...

7 CHURCHES, 2 STATIONS EACH, 7 PEOPLE, 14 CANDLES, WISHES GRANTED...

Whew... we came home late, Lili and I. We arrived from our church visitation along with V, Jun, Maricel, Girlie and Jessehon. We actually did our station of the cross by visiting 7 churches, and in each church we would have two stations to read and ponder on... Of course, before we ever enter the church we would light two candles at the candle lighting area.

This activity is tiring, especially because we do not have our own private vehicle to take us to each different location. We only rode the motorela or a single motor with a cab. I took some pictures but I could not upload them just yet. So I will simply tell you what I saw there without the pictures, or perhaps blog about it in a different post....

Seven is God's number. So with the activity, all of us, seven people, including my little girl, will have our petitions come true. I specifically am touched by my girl's petition. It was funny and heart breaking at the same time. All out of her innocent mind and kindred spirit.

Anyway, we started with a mass at 5 in the afternoon at the Our Lady of Fatima Church in Camaman-an. We joined the mass and I like how they have prepared for the said activity--- the laying of the blessed sacrament for the night's vigil. They had some sort of ceremony... there were men dressed to look like they are the disciples of Jesus. Then we have the mothers and the altar kids plus the Knights of Columbus and the priest. I shall be continuing this post with the pictures of the churches we visited...
