LOLA VIATING'S PLANTERS

There was a point in my life when I wished to become a green thumb. Well, it was because my grandmother, Lola Viating loved to plant and make beautiful gardens even at a very small space. Hmm, such beautiful memories if I am to recall everything--- Thanks www.planterixchange.com for reminding me how my grandma would buy Planters or clay and rubber from Bulua and upon reaching home take each Planter like taking a child gently off its crib... When my grandma was in her green thumb mode, you could see Indoor Planters piled and each Indoor Planter readied for whatever flowering plant she could think of planting... Of course when they grow to the right height and would start to bud or flower, they will be taken inside to beautify the house... Same goes with the Outdoor Planters, and each Outdoor Planter is carefully placed just outside the house. My grandma prefers placing them by the terrace or the walkway.... Ah, what a marvelous sight....

The month before she got sick, she made my Aunt's house very beautiful by creating a simple garden in the front yard. I remember Lola Viating bought so many Garden Planters with the same design. However the same though, each plant with its Garden Planter was taken cared like how she cared for each of her children... She told me that plants are like humans. They need tender loving care too--- Hmmm... I believe so too---

And if it is not interesting enough, here's something more to this story. My grandma bought six identical Window Box Planters, and I asked her why she was preparing them when there no space for them in the house... She smiled and told me that each
Window Box Planter will go to her children and their wives.. to take care while she is gone... At that point I asked myself why Grandma was doing it like that... And of course, January 7 she died... We suffered so much with her gone. We missed her terribly. She was the greatest grandmother that ever walked the earth...

Before my Aunt gave away all the plants with the High End Planters that my grandma took care of, she made sure that each of my grandma's siblings can get one plant with High End Planter for herself... What was left are the plants on the Decorative Planters and each plant smiles at us whenever we visit them as each plant in their Decorative Planter is a living proof that my grandma walked this earth and was super nice not only to humans but to plants as well---
