LIMOUSINE RIDE ANYONE?

I always see in American shows that whenever they are to party, it is but glamorous to travel in style. In one movie I saw, they hired a Boston Limousine Service to take the woman to this ultimate party that only the rich and famous can attend. It was then that I saw how extravagant such lifestyle could be. But of course, it just pays to be glamorous and sophisticated with Boston Limousines driving you around town. I guess it's every glamour girl's dream and fascination to be driven around or even to be taken in school in a Boston Limousine.. Hmmm

I remember that scene in The Princess Diaries, when the princess had a cool time with her friends inside the limousine, and even had the private time of dressing herself in the vehicle. Cool right? In the punk or rap MTV Videos, we could also see that some scenes are on the limo and the party people in it really rock...

What about you? Do you dream of having a limousine as your transport? Me, maybe in a wedding, a while limousine would be nice...

PRAISE GOD, LILI IS SAFE NOW!

We just arrived from the hospital. Lili was sick since yesterday morning and in the afternoon, was admitted at the Cagayan de Oro Medical Center.. First we went to her pediatrician but was not there at noon for lunch break so we immediately went to the said hospital. We went straight to the emergency room and after consultations, were told to have her admitted. The attending doctor at the ER is looking into Gastroenteritis or could also be Amoeba related...hmmm... I was apprehensive though... So we were to have her undergo certain tests, urinalysis, stool analysis and of course, CBC... And guess what? All are negative.. So, today, Dr. Garay sent us home. However, Lili is to continue medication. After which, we consult her again for whatever observations.
I would very much like to post pictures now and share with you one amazing thing that transpired during this unfortunate event. God really works in mysterious ways you know... But I guess I will just have to post about them, with all available pictures (lol) tomorrow. I have not slept last night, I really am sleepy now..
Anyway, for all of you who prayed with me, THANK YOU VERY MUCH...

WELCOME DECORATIONS...

Have you visited any of the department stores lately? What do you notice? The shelves and windows are now decorated with a back to school theme. Whew.. A few more days and we shall resume classes and welcome the new school year 2009-2010. It really helps to look into retail store supplies to further the decorating and extend it in the homes and schools. That way, students will be inspired to welcome the new school year also. lol...
It is always said that students should have inspiration while studying. And guess what? These decorations can really do wonders. They serve the purpose of enhancing the environment and making it look more pleasing and comfortable. So these retail stores around town, taking that into consideration, decorate their stores in a manner that students and parents will be inspired to buy more items that could be used in school. Brilliant idea huh?

SICK LILI

My little girl is sick today. My heart bleeds to see her vomit all the intake of vitamins, breakfast cereal, milk, eggs, and everything else. She finds it difficult to take any other food and stuff in her mouth now. I am observing her for further symptoms and we are going to teh hospital should matters worsen... Please pray for her... Thanks...

THE CHOREOGRAPHER

The recent Araw ng Balulang was a success. There were a few programs that certainly became a hit. One such event as the Miss Gay Balulang. The choreographer and organizer was really good. He patterned the show like the Las Vegas shows that Las Vegas is famous for. I am just so unfortunate because I have not witnessed it. My students from Villa Angela were the ones who told me about it. Well, that just goes to show that Filipinos are indeed very talented. Even here in Balulang you can see lots of talents.

Applause for the choreographer who has transformed the ordinary event into one great show... Kudos...

And speaking of Las Vegas Shows, do you know that one can get huge discounts from Smartervegas.com, the largest discount website online for Las Vegas. You can get a Las Vegas booking direct from the hotel you are staying in, and they will give you the best rates. They are offering amazing deals. And the best thing about it is, if a better rate or deal comes along one is free to just cancel and rebook because there are no cancellation fees. Don't you just love that?

Also, their show section have discounts to the best selling shows in Las Vegas like almost all the Cirque du Soleil shows, Blue Man Group and many others... Smartervegas.com is truly one of the best Las Vegas discount sources for Las Vegas and can save you a lot of money if you wish to go for a trip to Vegas....

Visit Smartervegas.com to day and see for yourself...

FARM TOWN

Here's another application at Facebook that I am currently enjoying. It's called Farm Town. It has a similar concept with Restaurant City, only we are dealing with a farmer's life here. I just signed up today. Hehehe.. But I must tell you, it's quite addictive... Hmmm...

NEED A LOCKSMITH?

I do. We have one cabinet in the orange house that we could use but it was locked until now because my former secretary forgot where she placed the key. And there is only one key, no duplicates. So today, I am going to call a friend who knows a good locksmith. It would have been easier if the cabinet is not built in. Unfortunately, it is built in so I can not take it anywhere else. The locksmith should be the one to come here. I read from a site online that a Dallas Locksmith is willing and able to do that. But hey, considering the distance, I am sure you all will agree that that is not feasible, right? lol...

Anyway, I am pretty sure I can find one soon... I pray...

Lesson learned here: Never trust your keys to your secretary. And never hire a forgetful secretary.. lol.. If you want the job done well, or if you do not wish to have problems later on, never trust your secretary for everything... I know.. I know.. Hiring a secretary is supposed to make life easier. But look what it has done? It has made it more complicated.. UGH!

Congratulations Bissa.

Our house help got herself an award during the graduation yesterday. She received 4th Honors yesterday... It was a happy successful affair at the Lighthouse in Gaisano Mall. I will upload pictures later..

ADVANCE HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL DADS...

I saw this video at You tube today. And believe it or not, I was crying at the end of the video... I love my father very much. I know he loves me very much also. Nothing can ever compare to his sacrifices just to send me and my siblings to good, expensive schools in this city just to give us the education and the life we now are enjoying. Despite many problems that we faced as a family, he never failed to "father" all of us... I saw how thrifty he had become, saving every penny to be able to sustain all of us and our needs... He lived a simple yet productive life. A perfect example of how parents should cope with family responsibilities. So many times in the past, specially during my teen age years, my father always tried to reach me, talking to me in times when all I ever wanted was to shut the world behind me. I know that however my heart was broken, his heart bled thrice as mine. I may have done things that hurt him and my mother, but he never stopped loving me... He never nagged.. Well. it was my mother's role to nag anyway, lol... Kidding aside, he is always there giving me love and support... I thank God for giving me such a man for a father. Zarelle is lucky too, for having a grandfather who is dependable and loving. And even if her dad is not like my father, she is still blessed for a father figure that stands out...
So to my father, advance happy father's day...

LANDSCAPE ARTIST ANYONE?

The landscape artist who did our grotto and the mini garden with pond at my father's house came by the orange house today. The wife Gemma gave me a modest proposal and I swear to God I would have jumped right in if I only have the resources. Thank God I do not have the money for extra jobs that are deemed unnecessary for now. They did a great job at the yellow house so they may also do the same here. I told her that I am not into landscaping just yet. I explained that even the owner of the house is surely to disagree. I wish I could recommend her to someone. See, they are in need of money right now and what better way to offer people but the services they are known for. Kinda like the West Palm Beach Landscaping who are known for their great landscape jobs in the area of West Palm Beach. Unfortunately for the couple, people here in Balulang are in financial crisis... Maybe someone will take the offer anyhow...
I guess that is really the problem if you do not have a website. West Palm Beach Landscaping is featured in many sites and they have their own website so people are not having a difficulty finding them, and on their part, they are not in difficulty finding customers because the website alone is a very good testimonial of their great performance. If you are curious as to what Ia m talking about, do visit their site at www.westpalmbeachlandscaper.org.

METHOD OF RELAXATION

Here is one lesson that can be applied at home. This is a good tool for parents and children or even couples to bond while applying the relaxation technique in reflexology...

Enjoy....

OH MY SINK...

Remember my post about wanting to remodel the orange house? Well, here's the latest post about it. I was browsing the net as usual when I chanced upon a beautiful piece of functional ware at www.mrdirectint.com. Actually, I am in awe because I have seen lots of beautiful undermount stainless steel sinks that could fit perfectly with the kitchen that we have at the orange house. Oh lala.. My mouth simply dropped an angle 180 degrees.. lol... Kitchen sinks may just be a very small part in the remodeling process but I assure you, it's one part of the house that works wonders. Changing the kitchen sink at the orange house will definitely make the kitchen shine all the more. See, the owners of the house have built it to have special lighting so if the sink gets changed, it will make it look better once hit by the light. Although, that is a different angle to look at, lol... There is really nothing wrong with the current sink, but the one I saw at the site really feels better than what we have now.

Anyway, remodeling the kitchen is still part of the plan. So there is still plenty of time to think. But I swear, once it will be decided upon, the sink is sure to be an addition. It's the perfect accessory for the kitchen...lol... if you know what I mean...

For those of you who can not relate to what I am talking about, please visit the site www.mrdirectint.com and get more information. If you are planning to change your sink, then there is a variety of designs to choose from. They come in style with an affordable price. With that, you get the value for your money, the look that you want for the kitchen, and the functionality of a dependable kitchen sink.. What more can you ask for?

A GUITARFISH OR A MERMAN?

Lately, a video text has been passed on and it was entitled "Ukoy found in Balulang"... Below is the said video:

If one is to search as to what the subject of the video really is, they will be given the answer "Guitarfish", a specie of fish belonging to the ray family. Well, that is what I have found in my research...

ETHICAL HACKER???

Have you heard that hacking can sometimes be a good thing? Yup, you read it right! Hacking is a good thing. Well, technically it is called as "Ethical Hacking". Hmmm I see eyebrows raising now..hehehe... So what is Ethical Hacking? And what makes it a good thing? Well, Ethical Hacking is actually one of the rising "Good Paying Jobs" that plays a significant role in IT Security. It actually studies the "The Hacking Cycle". Kinda like a "Training Modality". The EC-Council approves of such job and the main task is for ethical hackers to hack the system of the company they are working for, finding its weak spots that hackers may find vulnerable. In this way, they are able to formulate how the system could be protected from the deadly hackers...

Being a Certified Ethical Hacker is not easy though. One has to learn the many Security Fundamentals such as Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing, Computer Forensics, Disaster Recovery and Secure Programming. It's kinda like an FBI work of sorts in the IT Industry.. Well, that will surely be a good start in protecting the system of any company especially when the welfare of the people could be at risk.

I have seen a movie about this and I never thought it could be realistic.. Well..

BASKETBALL FOR DIFFERENTLY-ABLED BUDDIES

I was at Camaman-an last night and after hours of visiting an old friend, and Kumare (Lili's godmother) decided to go home. When I passed by the Camaman-an Basketball Court, I was totally amazed at what I saw that I asked the driver to stop so I can take a picture. Being the only passenger in the motorella, he gave me all the opportunity to witness this special event.

Isn't it great that men on wheelchairs were given the opportunity to still push through with their favorite sport, Basketball, despite their condition? I am truly thankful for the people who organized and supported the said event. As an advocate for SPED, this is indeed a good sign that many are now giving opportunities for our brothers and sisters with special needs (and special skills/talents). Soon I hope, job vacancies for them should also be available... Well, we'll never know... McDonald's in Jones Ave. Cebu City has already been employing differently-abled buddies so maybe one day Cagayan de Oro will also open doors for then..

PROTECT YOUR HOME...

Have you ever thought of getting a wireless security system for your home or office? In this time and age, security guards, no matter how efficient they are, can not protect our homes or offices 100%. Some even get killed during their watch. So what are we to do then? I suggest that if you must really get security protection, better get yourself something that is guaranteed to work without fail. You will never know what could be lurking in the dark. Err.. Even those that awaits outside your home to penetrate the inside..

I have read about the many homes that were ransacked and robbed even in broad daylight, with security forces within the vicinity. My friend and brother (DEMOLAY) was even kidnapped when he was just Lili's age (his dad is a high ranking government official at that time) but was luckily rescued before sundown. He said he was just taken from their home, picked and carried like a bag that kidnappers did not have a hard time getting him. So, how come security failed in this scenario? Well, sometimes human factors fail. Sometimes also, the security personnel work in connivance with the perpetrators. Perhaps add the system and the security forces will be helped.. Or you can also use the system to see even the activities inside your home. Ain't it a brilliant idea?

Anyway, if you wish to call them for more information, tole free numbers are 877-470-2751. If you place an order in that specific number , you get 2 keychain remotes with with your order. So what are you waiting for? Call them today.

LEARNING A NEW LANGUAGE

Our house help, Bessa, is a native of Lantapan, Bukidnon. She is blessed to understand Binisaya, Tagalog and some English words. The people in their place are said to be descendants of the "lumads" or natives of the area. And by that, they have their own language called "Binukid". I asked her to teach me how the language should be spoken and/or written mainly because I am interested with learning indigenous cultures and languages, being that I also belong to a minority group, the "Manobo Tribe" of Agusan. My mother said that there is a similarity in the language of Manobo and the Higaonon and the Bukidnons...so with that inspiring thought, I have come to a conclusion that I should study the Binukid language as it is what is more accessible for me right now. Well, hopefully...

A New Look?

My cousin Neonila slept at the orange house last night and she told me that the place is good except that it needs total makeover. Well, I am planning about that but I need to think about other expenses that need urgent attention. Besides, remodelling a house here in Balulang is quite difficult to manage these days. See, unlike in other parts of the world where it is easy to get people to do the job with minimum costs and supervision, it is difficult to find workers these days mainly because most of them have fled to work in other parts of the world..A better pay for the family's future. Unlike in Texas, specifically in the Dallas area where Dallas Remodeling is just a click away. In addition, you can be assured of a good workmanship minus the hassle and the worries of an expensive labor.
Like the physical features of the body, remodeling a house entails lots of hard work and the ability to see beyond the budget. Won't you agree? Well, tell me what you think...

MANONG ALLAN

My circuit breaker saved us the last time we had a short circuit. It was a broken extension wire that I still used despite the doubts that lurked my mind before doing so. And panicky as I always am, I was not able to contain myself when the short circuit happened. I started crying as if it was the end of the worlds for me and Lili. The house went so dark and I was crying for help from across the street.Manong Allan, our friend from the neighboring village came out from nowhere and "rescued" us.. After all the lights came back, he explained to me what happened and I could not help but laugh at how I reacted.. silly me... lol... Anyway, Manong Allan, the good and dependable electrician that he is, is truly a treasure to behold. I don't know what could have happened if he had not come. Thank you Lord for a good electrician here in Balulang. He came at the right time...
Now for those of you who live in Texas, specifically in the Dallas Area, if you need a Dallas Electrician all you have to do is visit www.dallaselectrician.org, the place to find a good and dependable electrician for all your needs. Well, you will never know how a minor problem can cause a great one...

MY FAVORITE TONGUE TWISTERS:

Betty Botter had some butter,
"But," she said, "this butter's bitter.
If I bake this bitter butter,
it would make my batter bitter.
But a bit of better butter--
that would make my batter better."

So she bought a bit of butter,
better than her bitter butter,
and she baked it in her batter,
and the batter was not bitter.
So 'twas better Betty Botter
bought a bit of better butter.

if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
He would chuck, he would, as much as he could,

How much wood
Would a woodchuck chuck
If a woodchuck could chuck wood?

He'd chuck all the wood
That a woodchuck could
If a woodchuck could chuck wood.

PREGNANCY HELP

Below is perhaps the most endearing and touching mother's day message I have heard so far..

"It was your mother who loved you before you were born--who carried you for long months close to her heart and in the fullness of time took God's hand in hers and passed through the valley of shadows to give you life. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY mom and to all the mothers in the world!"

The above mother's day greeting reminds me of the time when I was going through pregnancy with my little girl. Mine was the worst scenario...I guess. It was not what you can call the greatest time in all pregnancies, but I consider it one of the most challenging times I will forever cherish in life. And like all expectant mothers at that time, I was excitedly anticipating my child's coming while afraid of what will happen when she arrives. I was worried about complications and what the baby would look like, and many others. So I prayed so hard for God to give me a normal child.

While I filled my waiting with prayers, I also busied myself with work since we had so many programs and events up my sleeve being the HR Head at TANSAMBIN and the Personal Growth Trainer for its sister company, Center for Personality Development and Communication. We travelled within Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan, and we've had group enhancement programs for our people at the grocery. Since I was mostly online, it helped to read about specific information pertaining to pregnancy. I found many sites that offer a lot of help and one of them was Gurgle .com, where I learned about gurgle books that talks about how baby stuff are made simple as Gurgle is a fresh, exciting new voice in pregnancy and parenting process.

This just show that gurgle pregnancy is indeed very good health wise as the book gives pertinent information should parents or mothers to be be worried, or are simply curious about the different pregnancy symptoms that may arise during the pregnancy. The advice page from pregnancy experts on different pregnancy symptoms can help a lot you know.

RESTAURANT CITY

I have always been fascinated by games played offline and online. My first share of this addiction was with THE SIMS, Majesty, then DIABLO 2, then SIM CITY 2000, then THE SIMS 2 & other expansions, some games at Y8, then Yoville at Faceboook and now, Restaurant City at Facebook also. hahaha... I am feeling like a kid.. But see, these games are considerably my stress busters. It gives me pleasure and relaxation seeing my beautiful restaurant... Oh, and this is also a good way to be bonded with my students, both elementary and high school. lol... If you have an account at Facebook, why not try the apps there, especially Yoville and Restaurant City... I just love the games there so much.. especially Restaurant City...

Below are the looks of my resto:

The one above is the view from outside...and the one below is what you can see inside.. not much... but soon... hehehe...

FAST CARS

Lili's dad loves cars. He goes wild over the expensive and fast super drives. I guess that's where Lili got her passion for fast cars also. Hehehe... Well, this is obvious because whenever we watch movies about cars, she would tell me about how daddy drove his car and how daddy liked teh fast car that they were driving...They were driving??? I have no idea that "they" are driving... lol.. Well, am sure daddy knew what he was doing at that time. And I am truly amazed at how they have bonded by simply driving around... Anyone who loves fast cars would opt to have a vw turbocharger installed in their vehicles. That is what allows cars to run fast and smooth. Consider upgrading your cars for it to run in the next level... And you can only find the best turbo supercharger at www.turbochargerpros.com. Visit their site today...

WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY?

CHICKEN LOVE

I love chicken. I love eggs. I love every food which has any of the two or both as part of its ingredients. When my father was retiring, he thought of building a chicken farm, composing of at least 5 chicken coops. My brother, who has a degree in Animal Science was the one tasked to oversee it. But a problem came when they were about to build the coops. They were almost always brainstorming about the plan. Well, do you know how to build a chicken coop? It is not an easy task you know. My brother said it should have a good plan that would not look dirty and cluttered like all the other chicken coops in the farms he has visited. Hmmm... Then the chicken farm plan was diverted to an Internet Cafe, which later on became a Tutorial Center, lol... That is a different post, hahaha..
Anyway, my mother convinced my father that we should push through with the plan if my brother is done with everything else that he is busy with and will already concentrate on "the farm" so there the planned chicken farm can become a reality. True enough, my brother's interest in the said plan made him more interested in finding the right plan for the chicken coop. So one day, he was so excited to show us pictures of the plan. We all gathered around the table and looked at the pictures of chicken coop from Mr. Google that my brother showed us. Then, he showed us one exceptional coop, both diagram and picture, that wowed us all.

He said he got it from the website www.greenroofchickencoop.com. And guess what? We are totally sold out with the idea. It was perfect. The site allows visitors the ability to download chicken coop building plans instantly. And even place orders for disassembled chicken coop kit. An option to purchase an assembled chicken coop is also welcome there. The trademark of the company is the Green Roof which you will not be able to see from other chicken coops. My brother was suggesting another color, RED- his favorite color, lol... Now here's the great part of our discovery when we visited the site. We found out that the coop featured in their site was designed by an architect...WOW!!! Isn't that great? So that explains why it looks more attractive than other coops. wink..wink...
So, if we can put that in reality, I could just imagine all the chickens and eggs we shall enjoy.. yehey....

THE JEEPNEY RIDE...

Got home from my exams today. As I was on board the jeepney on my way home, I couldn't help but overhear conversations from neighbors who were on the same vehicle. They were talking about the tuition fees they had to pay for their would be graduating son and daughter, respectively. Hey I was not eavesdropping, okay. Their voices are just too loud that everyone in the vehicle could really hear every word they said.. lol...

It is really amazing what could transpire in such an overused mode of transportation. And conversations, apart from the loud voices rendered by the hosts, are all together put with the very reactions that are often too obvious to conceal for the factor that the jeepney has a narrow passageway in the middle of the vehicle. Sometimes, knees and shoulders would vehemently bump with no excuse but the very small space it has.

On my way to school this morning, the lady sitting across had worn her blouse inside out.. I wanted so much to tell her but when she realized that she was indeed wearing her garment backwards, she kind of allowed herself to be embarrassed, although no one uttered a word tow her. She simply smiled at herself and went down her stop point. Oh well, sometimes, even if you do not say anything to anyone in the jeepney, your message comes obviously..

I am home now, but still I find my jeepney ride today totally inspiring... I have witnessed many people struggle and won their battles.. that I learned during my jeepney ride...

GIFTS IN MY WISHLIST..ER.. LILI'S WISHLIST...lol..

Hey guys, Lili's birthday is on June 28. And if you are looking for a gift to give my little wonder, may i ask that you go to Posylane.com for that? hehehe... I am not demanding anything fancy, just the monogrammed towel wraps I saw there. They are really very nice. My little girl loves towel wraps... And of course, the mommy too... Hahahaha... Kidding aside, I know she'd prefer the personalized nap mats rather than the towel wraps. So I think that will work... Hey, she's still a kid. But, if you get them in the shades of pink, I know she will go loco over them. She likes everything in the shades of pink. One time I ordered personalized placemats for the new dining table, and guess what happened.. Pink ruled.. Oh my gosh! Eversince she is able to speak, pink has always been her anthem. I can not argue because I like pink too. lol..

Anyway, posylane.com has really come up with very nice gift ideas. I keep coming back their site for more. And I can't help it.. Their good look so adorable to resist.. Which reminds me, anyone need anything from them? maybe I could get you one for an event or so... wink.. wink...

WHICH SCHOOL SHOULD I SEND HER TO?

My baby is going to be in a "real school" this June...Below is my criteria in choosing a school for Zarelle:

a.) Affordability without sacrificing Quality... (SOP)
b.) Accessibility: One ride only if it's possible..(SOP)
**** c.) Should have THE BEST Teachers (No favoritism please) and Good Learning Facilities
d.) Should be an environment that fosters growth for the kids...
e.) I would like it to be a SAFE and SECURE Environment...

My HS Alma Mater is offering 20% discount on tuition for my Lili since I am an alumnae there.. I still prefer XU, another Alma Mater (college).. since the name really stands out, but Lifetime Study Center also has a good reputation.. I also consider Oro Christian Grace School, since Mika, my student this Summer, is a walking example of what kids are taught there. Seriously, choosing a school is a great deal for me these days. It keeps my mind busy.. Busy thinking... I want Zarelle to have the best foundation. She is a smart kid. She deserves to be at the right learning environment to become the person she wants to be. It would be devastating to waste such potential in a mediocre setting.

Anyway, before we enroll our kids, we should make sure we enroll them in a trusted learning environment. However, many parents have their specific reasons as to why they enroll their kids in their specific choice. But for me, one of the criteria should be the teaching staff. Does the school have good teachers? How will you know this? Well, look at the trend of graduates. Are the graduates in the school successful in their own fields? Hmm.. Kinda unfair but true. At least to me. See, if the students in a certain school end up with mediocre lives, believe it or not, the teachers and the school have something to do with that also. Apart from the home environment and the student's peers.

What am I saying? Teachers play a good role in the development of the child. Although it's true that learning and education is a partnership between the home and the school, still, teachers are more influential than the other significant persons in a child's life.. I don't know why that is so... But that's just how I have seen it... I may be wrong.. As for me, I am still scouting and looking around CDO as to the right school for my baby brother and Lili... But I think my mom is sending River to XU.. I am not sure though... One thing I am sure of is the promise that Zarelle will go to a good school...

FOR THE GOOD LOOKING GUY...

All of my friends never believed that L was the man I have fallen for and eventually had a kid with. All the reactions were strikingly negative. Well, my friends all know that I like a clean cut guy and never a sportsman. Most of the men I have admired in the past, looked good in a Barong or a suit with matching tie and Mens Tie Cufflinks to go with the ensemble. But I did fall for the tee shirt and jeans guy who drove me nuts over soccer and skateboarding, lol.. Hey, I was never into sports. And I could never pass as a sports gal... Because that is not me. But I guess after meeting L, I have forgotten about the men who wore slick and clean business suits, with mens ties, with clean and shiny shoes to match. Oh, did I mention, sexy and seductive scents to go with the outfit? I guess not.. To me, falling in love meant falling for the perfect Romeo. The guy who knows how to sing and dance and paint and write poems, speak poetry with every line and read poetry like it was the only sound you will ever hear in this lifetime... But of course we need to consider manners, traits, personality and values... Hmm, looks count also, as my sister Honey emphasized... lol... Whew.. I am going gaga now... Am I? What is this post all about? Am I reminiscing some forgotten past here? Of course not. It's just that looking at the wonderful things at S Buckinghams is making me remember the old me. I have always dreamed of a good looking guy. Hmm... Yeah a good looking guy..

Well, what makes a guy good looking anyway? Is it the outfit? Is it the physical features of the person? Or, is it his personality? As people say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But the secret is that, your outfits and how you wear them and how you carry yourself boosts what is lacking in your physical features. Yeah, that is true. That's why some people invest in real deals. Those that does not go out of fashion and those that really brings out the best in you. The right outfit and the right attitude, plus the beauty from within (lol), a good disposition, a killer smile and... well, you know the rest... lol...

Visit S Buckinghams and make sure you get one of the many wonderful things they offer for the good looking guy in your life. I am pretty sure it will make him more good looking..

Bye for now, I have to go get some rest..

SICK...

Been sick since Tuesday morning. I do not know why I feel so weak. I feel sleepy and heavy. Drowsiness is killing me. I have so many things to do.. UGH!!!

Anyway, for those who do have cars, and are in need of money, you have the option of getting a loan for your car. What do I mean by this? HE DELETED HIS REVIEW...

Yes, he deleted his review. Well, it's not really a loss for me as I have also filed a complaint with Smorty regarding this blogger's attitude. Forcing me to wriet a review after his review is cheating. If I will do so, he will get two reviews for the single review he did. And because he deleted his review about my site, then he also cheated teh company because he got a review for a review he erased. Darn, some people can not really understand rules sometimes.. Well, I am so sorry for you. I am not asking your support or anything. I am partciapting in an exchange review program. And I have given my fair share in the matter. I did the review assigned to me by the company. I did not cheat by asking the site owner to give me a review in return... I do not force people to do things even when it's not required. If the site owner likes the review I did and would make a review in return, then I see that as a bonus. But not by FORCE...

Congratulations and more power!

SOMETHING TO TAKE NOTE OF WHEN DOING A SMORTY POST EXCHANGE REVIEW...

I was reviewed at a site through the post exchange program of Smorty.com, and the site owner expected me to write a review of his site in return. That is not really a problem. I can always do that since the review about my site and my blog was nice. It's just that, I want to clarify one thing if we are to participate in a post exchange from Smorty.com. Once we are tasked to review the site given to us, we should not expect that the site we reviewed should also review our site, mainly because the sites assigned are randomly selected by Smorty.com, besides that, another site will give you a review of your site because the thrust of smorty.com is that once you participate, expect that another site will be featuring you in their site. Not necessarily the site that you have finished reviewing... Hope that is clear... Happy reading...

This is in the FAQ:

"For every post you write, a post will be written for you by a different blogger, one for one."

You see, for the five (5 ) posts I did for the post exchange program of smorty, 5 bloggers have also reviewed my site... That's how it works.. All of these bloggers were assigned my site to review, as well as I was assigned by Smorty who to review... Forcing the site owners to give us a review just because we gave them a review is totally a NO NO... If there is someone who should check blogger ethics, it's the person who couln't quite understand ethics itself.. YOU CAN NOT EARN RESPECT BY FORCE!... And that you must understand.

PLUMBERS FROM BALULANG TO CARROLLTON

I am so happy with the plumbing job that Manong Roldan has done. So far I am now enjoying a worry free journey in the kitchen sink... lol... Well, I do not worry anymore about the floor getting wet or the water being wasted, etcetera etcetera... And mind you, what i really like is the fact that he called in to ask if his job is okay and if there are still problems he said he will come anytime for the back job. That is truly something I appreciate with skilled labor. Sometimes workers just ignore that very fact. Or they intentionally forget. Anyhow, I will be recommending Manong Roldan to my friends if his services will be needed, here in Balulang or Cagayan de Oro only... hehehe... But of course, a Carrollton Plumber is what I could recommend in the Carrollton area. For more information about that you may visit www.carrolltonplumbing.org. I am pretty sure you will get so much information there.
Their thrust is high quality with a low cost. Isn't that what we all need and want? Hehehe... Well, at least at Jennings Plumbing Services quality is not sacrificed for the cost. You actually get the best value for your time an money....

I AM AT PEACE...

Don't we all want peace in our lives. A place where all we can ever be is ourselves. A time and a place that allows us to do whatever we want without fear of other people's criticism and unfair judgment? But the world is not built that way. We should learn to exist and co exist with harsh individuals. We just have to. I guess that's how it is now. My reality speaks so much truth about the world around me. You can not say that a person who claims to be religious or faithful and declares himself or herself a Christian would not drop the bomb at you. Well, I have met a lot of them, and believe or not, it does not really matter. So long as I have my peaceful universe, then my world is okay... Sometimes I get to think that maybe we should just shun away from these people. But then again, it's not worth all the energy. Running away from them just won't do any good. I just have to face them and see them eye to eye...

Anyway, I don't owe them anything... Not even an explanation of all the hows and the whys... Besides that, they are in no position to criticize, after all, my cross and their cross are way too different.. One they should not compare... At least I am independent. I earn my own money to pay the bills... I do not ask my parents for my needs and my daughter's... So, I'd like to remain silent. At least I choose silence. The orange house is my fortress... No one can hurt me and my daughter here... Not the nosy neighbor across our house or the nosy distant relative .. I am at peace... and I am happy.. I always believe that if a person or thing won't do you any good then do not keep it... For these reasons, I do not socialize with these kinds of people...damn hypocrites!!! Back stabbing lowlife... At least I pass any test I take.. Haven't failed one... well, I usually focus on improving myself or preparing for a major examination rather than talking about other people's lives, making unnecessary comments.... That's just so YOU!!! What do you get out of it anyway? Well, hahaha...

NO MORE DRIPS...

Finally my problem was solved by a plumber. No more drips in the toilet and the one at the kitchen sink. It really pays to have a good plumber. Thanks to Sonia for all the help. He came as fast as his feet could carry him. And the job was done in a flash. I did not even have time to prepare dinner for him, just "merienda" or afternoon snacks...lol.. His work reminds me of what I read the other day about Huntsville Plumbing. Fast, dependable service and good for the budget. What more could you ask for? Totally satisfaction guaranteed.

Now, I can freely wash up and not fear any water wasted because of the broken and twisted pipes.

Reflexology Classes For Besa

Tomorrow, Sunday, Mother's day, I am taking our house help for her second day of Reflexology Classes. I offered her the opportunity as this girl has not finished schooling. She was only in first year high school and will be sent to school by my mom this coming June. So I figured, she can use her earning for reflexology sessions later on since school, even in a public high school will mean more expenses. Although, most of hers will be shouldered by my family, still, it will be different if she will have her own money. Thank God she agreed. So instead of having a day off, she will be attending reflexology classes tomorrow.

With the surging economic problems, people should find ways and means to survive, and not just wait for the Government to solve economic problems.. I am glad this girl is listening fully well. When she's ready, she can stand on her own and she will be able to fly...

EYEGLASSES

My eyes hurt. They have been hurting since last week. I wouldn't say it is because of too much exposure to the computer. But I definitely agree with my sister Honey that I need a pair of glasses to protect my eyes while working online. Oh well, must this be like the good ole call center days? Hmm.. Couldn't disagree with my little sister. She knows these things very well... So immediately after our chat, I searched where to get a pair. Wide Selection of Eyeglasses are found online. I am planning to get mine online for a more efficient and faster transaction. Not to mention, there are so many exciting designs to choose from. Surely, it will be different from those ordinary glasses found at the malls. Besides, I do not go out much you see. Except when I have a schedule to attend to, a home service tutorial or some errands or the grocery perhaps. My Friend Lainey said it's more economical because it gets shipped and more convenient because you need not go anywhere else. Imagine that..

We really need to protect our eyes. We should not give it away to daily wear and tear because it does not get replaced. We need to prevent it from being damaged because the cure for eye problems may not always work. And are often expensive... If you need one also, visit www.glassesshop.com for more value for your money... All affordable prescription eyeglasses orders including those that costs only $8.00, will come with high quality stylish frames, high index lens, Anti Scratch and UV protection, a Quality case with a Cleaning Cloth.

WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS...

Thank you Lord for all the graces I received. Got myself an additional company to write for. Just signed up for Reviewme.com yesterday and today I earned $30+ from them. Their opps costs $5 the least but with the 3 first opps I got, the least cost them $8.. Also, Blogsvertise gave me a triple treat that costs $10 each... PPP has also been very generous lately... Oh and I got my first 2 opps from Smorty... Sponsored reviews blessed me with more opps too... Oh and buyblogreviews are also generous with opps.... More will come, I know... God never fails....

What a blessing. Thank you Lord...

Another blessing is of course the early mother's day gift from Ed. Another is the additional client for tutorial whose kid will start on Tuesday. And mind you, they did not ask for a discount so I have P 3500 for a 3 year old SPED student... Wowowee.... All in all, that's 9 students for the summer... They may have different programs and different rates, but hey, I can't complain.. I love my job..

And oh, I have 2 regular patients for reflexology... Isn't that great?

Whew.. Quite a busy summer ey? Well, it's what I prayed for... June is fast approaching.. this mom is going to send her princess to a good school regardless... (surely there is nothing to expect from the other side of the fence... people there do not care about my daughter...)

Thanks to Benchiegrace of ALL ABOUT LIFE for the first comment.. Do visit her blog...

MY EARLY MOTHER'S DAY PRESENT

Ed sent me something through a common friend who arrived yesterday here in Cagayan de Oro City. Guess what it is? Perfume. He did kept his promise. Well, technically that is. Hahaha.. I thought he was just kidding about it the last time we talked on the phone. But I guess he really is serious. Like his proposal and all others. He called me four days ago to tell me that he is sending me something for mother's day. Hmmm.. I love this gift. I will upload a picture of this later, as the virus is acting up again..

What's special about this scent is that it has been a long time since I wore this. And the last bottle I had was emptied three years ago. I love it so much but I could not afford it. It does not come cheap, and the imitation is not at all the same. Actually, that first bottle was given by my Aunt Letty and Uncle Willy. When their family came here for a short vacation from The UK. Aunt Letty love giving scents and perfumes as "pasalubong" (a gift to those who will be visited especially if the visitor is from another place) for the men and women in the family, and boys and girls too. From expensive perfumes to colognes. And mind you, all the scents and perfumes they gave out are the original ones. Expensive when bought here in the Philippines, but Aunt Letty said she had a good buy at the duty free. Oh well, she's an expert in terms of duty free stuff you know. hehe... Anyway, that is another story so maybe I will post about that after this post..

Ok, where were we? Ah, yeah, Ed's gift. I think painless labor has already taken it's toll on me.. I am so so forgetful already.. lol... So I called him this morning upon receiving my gift, and asked Ed why he gave me the said scent as a gift. And his answer was quite touching, I could cry.. but I didn't. He said I am special. And although things did not end like how he wanted it to end between the two of us, he says he is grateful for having me as a friend. Whew.. touching right? And here's the best line yet. He said that the gift is nothing compared to how much I have given him.. The gift of honest to goodness friendship that is, Oh lala.. I never thought someone could say that the way he did. Oh, and he is coming here for Lili's birthday in June with another gift. :)

Thank you Ed.. I really love my early mother's day present. And thanks for your gift of friendship also...

SITTING ON RONALD'S LAP

This was what I bribed her before we cut her hair...She loved the food, plus she got to sit on Ronald McDonald's lap...lol...

GIFT FOR MOTHER'S DAY

Every year, I always brainstorm with my siblings about what gift to give our mother for her special day. Usually we come up with perfumes like Tea Rose, and the like, but only if our money could make it. See, that perfume is way too expensive. But we do not mind really.. Our mother is special. She has given us so much. She deserves the best gift. When we were in college, we resorted to giving individual gifts. And this time, mother received 4 different kinds of scents, lol... My sister Sweet is fond of giving her the citrus scents, while my sister Honey is fond of giving her the flowery scent. My brother Playboy likes giving her the fruity scent. I like giving her the "mature" scent. What do I mean by this? Well, you know, the kind that you would wear when you seduce your partner, hahaha.. kidding aside, it's what the label of the perfume says... lol... I think my mom likes mine the most... hahaha, conceited me. But of course, what we like about giving her these gifts is the fact that she actually wears them. She has one for the office, for church, for parties, for whatever other events she will attend. And we like that. She is not only beautiful during these occasions, she is totally good smelling.

My mother, like all other women love perfumes. That's why we always opt to get her perfumes as gifts, not only during mother's day but any other event or occasion that calls for gift giving. Her friends and relatives who know this also gives her scents and perfumes as gifts. Come to think of it, I have never met a woman who does not like perfumes or colognes. Well, have you?

Happy mother's day to all mothers... May your day be great and as scented as the best perfume that fits your personality. I just received my gift this morning..and it's scented wonderfully too. Hehehe.. I will blog about it later... bye for now...
