The Palace

My cousin Blue's friend from UK arrived yesterday and he handed us a box from Blue. There were some adorable stuff and some edibles too. And of course, pictures. I saw this really beautiful building in one of my cousin's pictures. He wrote at the back of the photo that it's The Palace on his background. Hmmm.. I wanted to blog about it but I couldn't get the scanner working. Instead, I searched for some photo online and the one above is what I found. Also, I learned a few information about this magnificent landmark.

I was awed at the sight of The Palace Hotel as it looked different from any other hotels. According to my readings, this fabulous site is a grade 2 listed building which sits in the heart of Manchester's fashionable theater and entertainment district. So I guess it will really be a fun and exciting adventure when you traverse through teh district and go home to the splendid accommodation. And it is just opposite Oxford Road mainline train station. With its striking Victorian architecture, it makes it look more like a great piece of art. Dedicated conference staff and technical capability makes it a great venue for whatever event you have in mind... The Palace hosts many high profile events, and its center piece is The Grand Room which seats up to 1,000 delegates. Hmm.. I must say, if it's a benefit show you will have, it's gonna be a blast.

And of course, when in UK, do not forget to visit The Palace Hotel Manchester, for it is truly a great hotel. That's what my cousin said...
