LIFETIME STUDY CENTER KINDER 1 FIELDTRIP

Yesterday, Lili and River, Kinder 1 classmates at Lifetime Study Center, together with their teachers, guardians and parents of the other classmates went to the Gardens of Malasag Eco-Tourism Village for their field trip. It was supposed to be followed by a trip at the Nature Spring plant but the company officials informed us that the students from the other school scheduled before us have not finished with their tour yet and would like for us to wait. To make the most of our time, we went straight to McDonalds Limketkai for the kitchen tour...

Cisco CCNA Boot Camp Class

Previously, I posted about the Microsoft Boot Camp. And I told you guys it had made me sleepless for some nights, didn't I? Well, here's another one that would perhaps add to my long list of TO DO wishes.. And perhaps more sleepless night of thinking and wishing, waah..

Well, I visited www.countrywidetraining.com again and I found out about the ccna boot camp, or the Cisco CCNA Boot Camp Class. I tell you, I am a sucker for learning. And what Ia m really interested to study now is more computer related or technology related. I mean, let's face it. I think I will need the learnings since we are in teh computer era already..  Plus, I heard that tech people earn more money.. hehehe.. (Shh.. maybe I should just marry one-- Oh Ed, do you see the green light flashing??? lol..)

Anyway, from what I have read, Countrywide Training's CCNA boot camp is a fast, effective, and exciting way to earn a "Cisco Certified Network Associate" certification. And of course, as a CCNA candidate, one has a great deal of networking technologies to master as he or she will prepare for Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 and 2 certification exams. But of course, CCNA boot camps thoroughly prepares the candidate for these rigorous exams by teaching all of Cisco's exam objectives as well as giving practical, hands-on experience in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and operating Cisco networks. Oh my goodness. I want to have that knowledge too.. During this CCNA boot camps, one also learns about basic security mitigation and wireless networking concepts as well as the proper use of networking protocols.

Of course, the boot  camp facilities that I mentioned previously applies as well. Whew.. I could just imagine how good it will be to learn in that wonderful environment..

MY PACKAGE FINALLY ARRIVED

The package I was waiting for finally arrived the other day. It is only now that I opened it because I was too busy.  Wanna know what's in it and who it's from?

Hmm.. I will tell you in another post. hehehe.. that's thrilling enough right? Keep posted..

BE AN ANGEL

In fact, they have already sponsored over 1500 sponsored through World Vision, at-risk youth of the House of Samuel, which is a Home for Teen Boys who need new direction in their lives.. You will see that those youth and of course, the homeless are helped by Boat Donations, Car Donations, or donations for property and houses. More about that also can be read at www.thebadd.org. And to top that, they also produce Children's Animations and send them absolutely free with the proceeds of the said cause. The said car donations also funded their anti-drug skateboarding documentary and the website www.dopethemovie.org for Teen Pregnancy Movie, Federal Case which is in the Film Festivals now.

Their current project include building a remote rehabilitation facility for those addicted to alcohol drugs and those who have been drinking through abuse.

SWEET'S PREGNANT CLIENT IS ABOUT TO GIVE BIRTH---

At this point, I am actually listening to my sister's phone conversation with her group mates as I type.. I am not eavesdropping! My mom did not raise me to be so.. But my sister's excited and confused voice makes me hear every word she says.. Hahaha.. It was followed by her changing into her type c uniform, and rearranging her bags for a possible emergency duty as the pregnant client that they are taking care of has called her other group mate saying that her bag of water broke 30 minutes ago.. My sister then called my brother if he could drive her to Macabalan, where the pregnant woman is right now.. Then she asked me for the digicam and all others for documentation. whew! All that for an anticipated birth.. And Sweet told me she will have her duty at 6 am tomorrow, ARGH! Does this mean a sleepless night for her??? Well, that's the life of a nursing student..

MEETING MY EX AGAIN---

I was at McDonalds LKKS yesterday to finalize the kitchen tour for Lili's and River's fieldtrip in school. After I spoke with Joseph Marcos, and I was left alone to enjoy my food, including the twister fries that he gave me, I noticed that a guy was smiling at me. I was facing the counter and he was facing me from the counter corner... I didn't mind at first because I was busy enjoying my time alone and my McFlurry...ha.. When at last the face of the cute short guy became visible enough in my less trance-like state, I realized I was also smiling at Micky.. OMG! It was him smiling there for almost eternity.. And I couldn't help it, I just smiled at him in recognition of his smile.. As if we did not end our relationship in the worst way.. and that will go in another post... Then I realized he was with some friends, an older guy and another younger guy. I think they were their for some business talk because of all the brochures spread on their table. I never bothered to talk or say a word. He was smiling, I was smiling.. And that's it! I looked at my watch and it was almost time to fetch Lili and River so I gathered all my stuff and left..


I left still smiling that I gave away the free twirl I got from using my McDonalds Card to the first stranger I met outside..hahaha..was I funny or what? .

MORE THINGS TO DO THAN JUST WATCH A GAME OF FOOTBAL???

Yup! That's what Tony told me today. It seems that more and more people are into the Footbal game, not only because they love the game but also because of Football Betting.. hmmm.. WHITE MANGO (BAUNO)

My mom arrived from her  travel from Gingoog City. When we met her at Jollibee Gaisano Mall, she had a bag full of "Bauno" or otherwise called as White Mango. A fruit that can only be found in Gingoog's mountains..

My mother loves this fruit so much. She also discovered this from her friends in the NCIP. If my mother did not work closely with the tribal communities, I doubt we'd ever be able to get to know exotic fruits such as this..

See how the meat looks? It's white. It's also milky when you eat it this way..

 

In an attempt to make it more exciting, I decided to make a candied Bauno.. I used my handy dandy oven toaster. I simply peeled one Bauno, washed it, and placed it on the tray. Poured brown sugar on top for the syrup, and boy, it was oh so YUMMY..

When all the brown sugar melted, it softened the Bauno..  Best eaten while still warm and topped with Vanilla ice cream..

AH! What a life that would be.. No worries, no more hurried pace.

I wish I could enroll soon.. Hmm. I guess that calls for one more round of a sleepless night, lol..

ANOTHER HOLIDAY

Today is a holiday as it is Eid ul-Fitr, or the end of the Ramadan for our brothers and sisters in the Isalmic faith.. President Arroyo declared it as a holiday so we do not have classes or work all over the Philippines. Ahh.. Time for some REST! Or is it really? Ha! I am doing the laundry-- lots and lots of laundry.. some of them left by our househelp Bisa Saldo, who went AWOL and left her tasks undone, mostly blankets and bedsheets with matching pillow cases.. Most of them she was the one who used....

So anyway, can't complain. The heavens will punish her in due time. That I am assured of. Stealing and intensionally destroying properties should have sent her to jail, but she preferred to be on AWOL..

Have you ever been on a mcitp boot camp? I happened upon a site that features that, and you know, after browsing the the site, I feel I want to join one. It was at www.countrywidetraining.com where I read about the Microsoft MCITP Boot Camp Classes that got me drooling over the facilities. WOW! That is so cool!

Anyway, what does it do?
