Harakiri or Guilt?

Rest in Peace General Angelo Reyes.. I would like to say that even if I am not really a fan of the late general.  I have nothing against him also. If he had done something wrong, I am sure it is just a matter of following orders from his bosses. That's the military way, "Obey first, before you complain". A lot of people speculate that the general committed suicide to keep a little dignity that was stripped off him during the senate hearing. A lot also are speculating that it is in fact an admission of guilt that he killed himself.

Ah.. They are both speculations that no one can actually prove to be so. Given the benefit of the doubt, unless proven otherwise, he still remains NOT guilty of the accusations as per hearing. If you ask me, which I doubt anyone would, his suicide in front of his parents tomb is some form of helplessness that every child feels whenever a serious matter is at hand. We all go back to our parents, no matter how old we are.  Age is not a hindrance for such comfort. But being that they lay there in silence as they are six feet below the ground, then it's really pointless. I just wish the general did not do what he had done, as I feel for the bereaved family he left behind. Whatever the speculations, accusations, and how others saw him after that fateful hearing at the senate, he is after all, a father, grandfather and husband to his loved ones.. I pray that justice will prevail and that his death may not hamper the investigations. After all, every Juan dela Cruz deserve to know the truth..
