In my other blog I posted that L is in need of eyeglasses and that his sister who is in the United States will be sending him a pair in the next package, which is next week by the way...hehehe... Anyway, how it came about is simple. First L told me about his sight problem whenever he would drive and I suggested that he wear a pair of eyeglasses while he would drive his car, anyway the glass windows are tinted, so it wont be much embarrassing to be seen wearing them. Then I had a chat with his sister, P, the nurse in the US and she told me almost immediately that she read about Zenni Optical in the New York Times?!...whoa mama!! Isn't it "alignment"? How our thoughts are aligned for a certain purpose? Oh, boy...THE SECRET really works...
Anyway, she told me that it was stated in the NYT that at Zenni Optical, one can get Prescription eyeglasses for only $8! Yeehah!! Alignment again. Hehehe... Oh and she added that she will be getting a pair for herself too. That's also when she told me that she will be including a pair for L. So, I took the liberty of choosing the glasses for L. Well, if there was a frame with a design for skaters that would have been what I have chosen, but since there was none, the ones below were the choices:

Oh, how I made the choices? I searched Mr. Google and I was led to the website of Zenni Optical at www.zennioptical.com, and there I viewed all the possible designs. And wow, it is truly amazing how much savings one can get, and they come in trendy designs and cool colors too... At Zenni Optical, we can manage to be Seeing Straight Without Breaking Bank...Truly amazing, isn't it?
After that I sent L a text message telling him everything, and added that when the glasses arrive, he should wear them with pride for they are not only fashionable and stylish but they are also sent with love... I know how a sister cares for her siblings... as I am a sister too... wink..wink...
