IT'S ALL IN THE WORK...

My friend Liezl moved in a new house. A house previously owned by another friend who recently moved to the US. We just arrived from a dinner get together from there. We had a grand time looking at pictures in her album while we savor her pleasant cooking. But what struck us all was the painting on her walls. We thought at first that they looked expensive wallpapers, but when we got closer, found that it was simply painted. WOW! What a paint job that was! Which reminds me of what I saw online the other day, when I googled something and landed on an Arvada Painting job that was really a very good masterpiece. Imagine a paint job that looks like an expensive wall paper. How will you feel if all your friends are in awe because of what they see? Surely, Liezl had her wow moment with all our eyes glued on her wall painting. And the beauty of it all, she helped the painters finish the magnificent wall art. I wish I could do the same here at the orange house. But of course, my budget will not allow me yet. I have just single-handedly enrolled a new student to school so expect that finances are depleted for now.. But maybe one of these many days… I hope

The Umbrella Game

While it was raining hard outside, Micah and I were continuously reading inside the shop. Then she told me she was tired of reading and wanted to play. So for our icebreaker, we played a little game. She called it "The Umbrella Game".. Nothing much to do except that we share the small umbrella that she owns, open it up like it was raining hard inside also, and whoever gets wet with the imaginary rain (Micah's idea, lol...) is the loser..

Hahaha... I lost because according to Micah, I am too big for her umbrella. Punishment for the loser? None.. she just liked the idea. And I simply went with it, if only to earn her trust... And the assurance that she will cooperate with me when we go back to our reading task after we played... after the game, we continued reading...

Micah..

This is my favorite student, Micah. She is gonna be in K2 this school year, but you know what? She is so advanced... She can read elementary level text books. She's very good in Math and a very sweet little girl.

We had to cut our lessons temporarily because we feel she needs rest before she starts the school year...

She's like Lili in so many ways ...

Just Curious..

I am looking for Mortgage Leads. Why? Well, my friend Derick is asking help from me...lol... as if I know more about this than him who is in this business. lol...

So anyway, trying to search on this brought me to so many learning points, which I think may be beneficial for me also. Ha! Now I am learning something good on the financial side...Enough knowledge to keep my boat from sinking… hurray for me… Imagine being able to choose the right plans, knowing the right company, investing your hard earned income on a trusted company who will help you make it grow bigger and bigger, lol.. And of course, knowing the ups and downs in the loan industry… Gosh… this is making me a genius already, lol However, learning more about these things make my eyes open wider than wide, lol.. Loan Modification and all other terms make me dizzy, however convenient or beneficial they have become… lol... Anyway, good that Derick is now okay and has stopped bugging me.. and I hope it lasts even after he sleeps.. hahaha.. goodnight sweet cheesecake, I think you have to sleep it off. Otherwise, thinking too much may drive you mad, hahaha...

1 HOUR BLACK OUT

Earlier this evening, we experienced an hour of darkness. With no apparent explanation, we had BLACK OUT here in Balulang. My friend in Bulua also reports the same. Hmm.. Does this have something to do with the noise barrage and the call to say NO TO CON ASS?

Well, if it is, I am happy to have participated in it. If not, I hope CEPALCO will explain why it happened.

On the lighter side, the five candles you see at the left was able to sustain me and Lili.. Because the emergency light on the right was not charged, hence, was not used during the said BLACK OUT. Lesson learned, charge your emergency light for you never know when they can come in handy...

ONSITE TRAINING ANYONE?

Hey guys, I have discovered something new today and very much would like to share it with you. I came across www.countrywidetraining.com, after surfing on google, and from there I have read that the company conducts onsite training to all those who are interested to learn Microsoft Office, IT Training, Soft skills and many others... Oh Yeah, that is indeed wonderful right? Onsite training provides students with the opportunity to learn from a live instructor who will be there, present to answer any questions that may arise while the class is going on.

Onsite training programs are great for companies looking to train groups of employees at one time, similar to a workshop or seminar for in-house development. With onsite training classes, a certified instructor will be sent to a company's location to train staff members on a variety of topics. With this in-house training, company staff can highly benefit from its hands on approach, not to mention the fact that each onsite trainer will give in-depth inputs which will surely mark each participant’s growth in the company. An in depth analysis shall also be conducted to gauge how much each participant has learned parallel to implementation of what had been taught in the company’s work environment.

Bloggersreview.com is NOT a scam...

Remember my previous post about Bloggersreview.com not replying to the ticket I raised? Well, finally, today, a staff did sent a reply and explained that I will be paid the pending amount on the 1st of July. I checked and I now could see that they have also restored the pending amount on the page. So immediately, I restored all posts that I temporarily placed on hold. At least now my doubts are erased. I am now opening their site again and I shall be happy to do "opps" again for them.

As a mom blogger who works doubly hard online, I find that details such as this need utmost attention. My online tasks had become my bread and butter after all. Just like all the mommy bloggers out there, I know that knowing if the company will scam you or not is really relevant in the job. Am sure many will agree that writing for a company with a promise to be paid and end up not being paid at all is heartbreaking. You feel bad because you have already sweat it out, not to mention the electricity and the effort.

Anyway, thank you Bloggersreview.com for such clarification...

Do you need an Internet Marketing Consulting?

Do you need an Internet Marketing Consulting? Some people need an Internet Marketing Consultant for their online businesses. They are sometimes referred to as SEO Consultant. Hmm.. In the recent Blogging 101 Workshop sponsored by my group, CDO Bloggers, these things were thoroughly discussed by our in house SEO Consultant in the person of our dear friend Tabby. However, since the time for the said workshop was just too short, I had to relearn most of what Tabby discussed on my own. And just to check, I searched google for an SEO Consultant from whose website I could get further information. And truly, www.dannydemichele.com is indeed very helpful for self study. Thanks much...

OH YEAH, NEW MOON...

Everyone's talking about it... It's coming in November... Can't wait...

Sacramento Plumber

I love a Sacramento Plumber. He is always on the job without any hesitation or resignation. One can always count on him to do the job every time he is required. He is committed and does not abandon his duties... I wish the plumber I met when I had a problem at the orange house is like him. Not the one who fixed my leaking pipes but the one who came before him. Tsk..tsk..tsk.. Very bad habit of accepting a task and not knowing what to do. I guess he's all for the money, and not because he knows how to do it really... Hmm.. That's a very sad excuse for a job if you ask me..

Higglytown Heroes...

This is one of the many favorites of Lili at Playhouse Disney...She even adapted the expression: "Ah Pickles.." hahaha I kinda like them also as they are teaching my Lili some important points in life... This video luckily I found in YouTube to share with you guys..

and here's another one..

MEN'S MAKE UP...

Adsc08299-sm

Is your boyfriend using mens makeup? Eyebrows raising here.. hahaha.. Just curious though.. Anyway, I want to share here that it is not surprising anymore to find lots of mens cosmetics for sale online or in the malls. Have you ever heard of the product, The Men Pen™? It is a concealer product specifically designed to conceal specific areas like acne, moles, scars, dark circles, blemishes, or just rough spots on a man's face! Men love the self confidence they get from The Men Pen! According to what I read online, this is the same mens makeup product that male actors, models, and businessmen use in their everyday life...And not all of them are gay...okay... The product comes in 17 colors so there's a match for every man who wishes to use them. Now how did this come about? Well, as we all know, men and women have different types of skin. Men's products are not suitable for women and women's products are also not suitable for men, specially in taking care of the skin and in all other aspects. Let's face it, men and women are different... But just the same, both want to feel confident, especially in important functions and events. Like what I said earlier, it's made to help guys improve their confidence and look better especially for specific times like the prom, attending important meetings, or even clubbing. If you are getting married and your groom has a zit on his face, how would that make him feel? He is supposed to enjoy that moment too, right?

Business in Hospitals...

A hospital is a good business. See this bedpan? It is made of plastic. Before, when you request for a bedpan, they give you one that is made of solid brass or the metal one. You can't take that home, and you do not get charged for that. Now, if you request for anything, they come in plastic, you get charged for it and you can take them home. Anything that you will request for, including hospital gowns... that you need to pay for can now be taken home... Of course, if you look at it, it is a lucrative business. They have suppliers, and they have buyers.. extra income... lol... Had I known that, I would have brought home the hospital gowns I paid for when I was hospitalized at Chong Hua in Cebu...lol... But I didn't know.. so.. Anyway, it's no big deal now...

Remodeling in Nashville

If you live in the Nashville area, and is in need of Nashville Remodeling? Here's one website I can recommend. Go to www.nashvilleremodeling.org and find out how the company can best help you in your remodeling plans and options.

HOSPITAL FOOD...

This is how food at the hospital is served...

Funny because they are supposed to be for the patient, only to end up for the person taking care of the sick..lol...

Banking 101

I am opening another account in another bank. The one I have now offers a good deal in bank CD rates but I still think it's best to open another account in another bank. My mom said that if we are to save in banks, we make sure we do not place our saving all in one place. It should be in varied accounts. Banks vary in many terms. Interest rates may vary but on a level where it's not too high or too low. This is where competition comes in, aside of course from the different programs each bank undertakes. It's not surprising that some banks have followers and loyal patrons while other don't. And if you ask me, I always go for those that has been around rather than those that simply sprouted a year or so.. Well, that's just me...

ON OPPS....

I was asking my friends about Payingpost.com because I have a hundred plus in posts that they have not paid me yet. May 1 and June 1, that is. My money keeps growing and yesterday they updated and said that next payment will be on July 1... we'll see.. $150 + is something... That's my earned money you know...

Now here's the worst scenario...

I signed up for Bloggersreview.com, got me 3 opps and when approved I had $15.60 pending payable as of June 1. And because they had this program where you enlist your blog as their featured blog for the month to get more opps, I signed up, paid the $5 fee from my earnings.. so that leaves $10.60 for yesterday's payout that never came. And when I checked again, pending earnings became ZERO. Worst is that, I never got any transfer from them in my paypal. So Bloggersreview.com may be a scam... Well, what do you think? I am still asking around... Temporarily, I have taken off the posts from my blog, saved them as draft until further notice. I can not continue having such links in my blog knowing that the company have scammed me... See, they have not even bothered to reply to the ticket I have raised... Anyway, I will publish them back if I get what's due...

Oh, and to change the mood of this post, yesterday I got my first payment from REVIEWME.COM. I only signed up a week ago... I was so amazed because I got $68 for only 5 posts. Can't beat that. The opps are approved faster and their system is very easy to manage. Thank you guys at Review Me.. keep up the good work....

SELL OR BUY A HOUSE ONLINE

I used to work part time as a realty agent. My group and I would go to an open house to sell houses or lots. That would take us the whole day. And people would come and go, without even buying anything. Sometimes it's frustrating. Not to mention, tiring.... We use all media to sell, including fliers. When we sell houses from direct sellers, us being the middlemen, we usually place a house for sale sign outside the house. Sometimes people call to see the house, but, end up not buying at all. And when it is not sold, we do not get anything....Frustrating, right? But hey, that's how the realty business is. Now, with the Internet, we can actually sell houses online. Less effort, more returns. Especially because more and more people would go to the net to look for what they are looking for. And if you are the direct seller, all you have to do is place an ad online, or go to www.sellhousenow.com.au, and have your property listed there.

I was able to visit the site because my cousin who is now living in Australia told me to visit the said website. She wanted me to check out the lots she was selling. And of course, if there are sellers, buyers are also welcome there. The site boasts of a very easy to navigate interface, and highly manageable links. Hmm, why didn't we think of that before? I am no longer active in the realty business but the Sportsdad is. In fact, he was asking me the other day if I know someone who is selling property in Camiguin Island. So I guess with this information handy, I should share this with him...

I think this easy to click service available online is perhaps a breakthrough, should we intend to go into the realty business. As for the site I visited, I salute them for such a good example.

Selling and buying online have their benefits. Usually, people who sell their property believe that there is only one way and that is to go through a real estate agent. With the advancement of technology, and the popularity of the Internet, new opportunities arise for those who are wishing to sell without having to pay inflated real estate agents commissions. SellHouseNow.com.au provides a meeting point for sellers and buyers in an environment which is stress free for both parties. All that is needed is to fill in the House information form as accurately as possible and all information will be matched as per buyer or seller available in their system. Similarly, you can compare it with online dating only its for houses or properties. lol...

I have not posted this yet.... These pictures are from the recent commencement exercises of Our Lady of Fatima Foundation Clinic..

Myrtle Beach Resorts

I wanna go to myrtle beach resorts for a vacation... Where is this located? Well, it is located in South Carolina. Do you know that this is one of the premier tourist areas on the eastern seaboard? Well, it is most famous for the incredible golf courses located in and around the city. And mind you, most of the best designers have built courses here, and there are so many that you can build an entire vacation simply around golfing. I'm sure my friend Tom would like that very much, being a very good golfer. Now, let's put it this way, you go on a vacation, daddy plays golf. What will the rest of the family do if they are not into golf? For the rest of the family, a number of other tourist attractions have sprung up in the city to meet their demand, different as it may be from each other's moods or personalities... Attractions range from evening shows to nightclubs to aquariums to NASCAR-themed go-karts, it won't be hard to find something to do so no one ever gets bored....And of course, there's always the beach... Am sure mom and the elder siblings would agree on that while the youngsters also busy themselves in their own agenda... lol...

FREE LARGE FRIES AT MCDO...

My McDonalds Card gives me FREE LARGE FRIES everytime we order food with a minimum purchase of P 150.oo, that's approximately $ 3.30 (based on paypal current rate)... Oh, and special discounts apply for large orders. Like the birthday party of Issa, my cousin's daughter, I told my Manang Ting to use my card and they were given 10% discount...

MERCHANDISE PHOTOGRAPHY

Do you ever wonder why products in catalogs look better than in real life? Well, the answer is simple. The photographer who took the pictures in the magazine or catalogue really an eye for their subjects or should I say, the products to be presented in the said catalog. Last year, my friend Amy got engaged to her then boyfriend now husband, Ronald. Amy told me about the story of their engagement ring. She said that when Ronald asked her to choose from the rings in the online catalog, she chose the ring she chose because it really looked beautiful there. However, when the ring arrived, she said it didn't look quite like the way it looked in the catalogue. The jewelry photographer must really be very good with his job.

It really takes an eye of an artist to create such wonderful masterpieces. Now, if you are in a business which entails the use of such fine artistry, I suggest that you get yourself a company to do merchandise photography for you. I assure you this will truly be a very good move. Just like my friend Amy, many more people would look at your merchandise online and if they see that your products have appeal, then chances are high that they will surely buy it...

The Long and Winding Road

This photo was taken when Lili and I went to Carmelites Monastery:

I guess my life right now has this song as it's "themesong"... Exactly what I am feeling right now... whew... With God, we'll get there...

Lili and I will get there despite the long and winding road...

I love cookies that are crunchy on the outside, and are chewy on the inside. I have had almost all brands tasted and repeatedly eaten for my enjoyment...lol... And sometimes I bake my own. Atlanta Roofer

I posted an entry about the roofer that did my roof at the orange house previously and guess what? I think I saw him and his assistant on my way here earlier. Then when I was about to call them, they were gone.Hmmm... Where did they go? I am really so frustrated with how they did their job. And now that I am looking for them for a back job, they could not be found. Or at least I did, but they were in hiding.. or maybe not.. Geez, I couldn't help but be angry. How could such people go on with their business if that's how they do their customer relations? They are really far too different from an Atlanta Roofer... Well, I read that they are very good and they have the best customer relations ever. Apart from their wonderful services of course. Most of their clients have attested to how good they are with their tasks, and they are very happy with the output. Good for them...

LOVE THIS SUMAN...

The secretary of the auditor at MOGCHS ordered this from her "suki" (favorite vendor) and shared the food with us. And because this Cassava Suman is delicious, we ended up ordering from her "suki" also...

Oh so YUMMY!!

WHAT IS 3RD HAND SMOKING?

We are all aware of the ill effects of second hand smoking to the health of the non-smokers who are around a smoker :( . But here's what is worse. Even if a smoker has left the vicinity, he can still affect the lives of the people around him. How? Well, here is now the new discovery known to be called as 3rd hand smoking. What is this all about?

Third hand smoking actually refers to the residue of smoke, nicotine and all other components from a smoker's recent smoking activity. These residue are those that stick to fabric or those that are left in an enclosed space where the smoker has recently done his activity. When a non smoker enters said vicinity and inhales the residue, it will also cause him or her the very ill effects of smoking..

CIGARETTE SMOKING IS NOT GOOD FOR HEALTH, YOURS AND THOSE AROUND YOU....

Let us all remember that....yesterday, we celebrated WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY... Today is a new chapter... I hope some of yesterday's celebrations served an eye opener to those who still think they are not doing anything wrong by smoking...

My Pursuit...

Hey guys, it's the start of the new school year, 2009-2010. The public school have started classes last Monday. And I could see that students are just as excited as their teachers to start the year. They were even wearing their uniforms already. Anyway, for those who are starting college next week, I hope you guys have already decided the career path to take. See, college is where choosing a career starts. If you are a freshmen, everything will seem vague yet, but as you go through it all, little by little you will hunger for that very vocation that you wish to get into. However, there are also those students who even in freshmen, have already known the life they want to lead vis a vis the career they will pursue. Good for them.

As for me, let me just share that I never really wanted to be a teacher. Not at first. Although I aspired for greatness in a noble setting, teaching was never an option. But all I could say is that, I was prepared to be a teacher. When I was in College, I enrolled in Psychology and since Psychology at Xavier University is General, we get to taste all of its branches, one of which is teaching. Choices of teaching college or preschool. However, I personally liked guidance and Counseling. In fact, I became a peer counselor because I thought it was my calling to be a Guidance counselor should I finish the course. And yes I finished the course, but I did not work as a Guidance Counselor, not immediately. I went through the Industrial setting, testing, teaching college, teaching preschool. It was working in Manila that I had my first taste of real teaching.. When I taught Conversational English to Japanese businessmen and their families.. The Japanese treated me with respect and an equal. They were very eager to learn and it gave me pleasure then to see how happy they were to learn new things. That's when I knew I was an effective teacher. When I came home, I then started my journey into the academe... Improved myself by getting a Masters Degree in Special Education, and here I am now.. A TEACHER... the vocation I have chosen, the path I want to take till I see my golden hair... lol... At this point, although I have not accomplished much, compared to the great teachers that I idolize, still I consider myself to be successful. I am a living vehicle for change, that I know... And it makes me happy to see that some of my students a few years back are already successful in their fields of endeavor.. So, find yourself a good vehicle for success. Browse 350+ Job Descriptions, Salaries and College Reviews at MyPursuit.com, and change your your life for better. One day, when you have reached your success, you will look back and smile, and tell yourself that going through the journey alone is success in itself..

Piggypiggy

Meet my daughter's favorite stuffed animal. The pink stuffed pig that she takes with her wherever she goes. And worst part, she can't sleep without Piggypiggy. When she was at the hospital though, she had no reason to fight sleep without having Piggypiggy by her side. When she was sleepy, she slept. But because I wanted her to feel comfortable I sent for Piggypiggy, only to find out that Bisa gave Piggypiggy a bath--- as we explained to Lili. Piggypiggy was washed, lol... So my sister, brought Moo instead...

webhostinggeeks.com

Have you heard about the services offered by webhostinggeeks.com?  I heard it is a dedicated server hosting that gives you the value for your money. Immediately I checked their site and found that it is indeed very reliable. Judging from what I read in their blogsite,  a client can really be assured that they have not signed up in a mediocre webhosting server.
What's more, they are multi awarded, don't you know? Well, they have been awarded for the following:
Best Budget Hosting, Best Blog Hosting, Best Forum Hosting, Best Unix Hosting, Best Windows Hosting, Best PHP Hosting, Best Email Hosting, Best Ecommerce Hosting, Best Multiple Domain Hosting, Best VPS Hosting, Best Reseller Hosting and Best Dedicated Hosting.

You could just imagine being served by a multi awarded company. So, if you are looking for a new web hosting service, because maybe your online business has grown to the point where it already exceeds the offerings of a shared hosting environment, then,  it might be high time for you to upgrade to dedicated hosting. Dedicated Hosting, or often referred to as a dedicated server, is a solution where you have the entire server to yourself. The job of the hosting provider is the monitoring of the hardware, routing equipment and network connectivity while granting you control over the server software. It is more complex and expensive than shared hosting, but, leasing a dedicated server gives you the unparalleled flexibility and control needed to run a thriving business that experiences a high volume of web traffic. And the best solution, if this is your concern right now is to go to webhostinggeeks.com.

The Doggie's Share

We went to eat in a restaurant one time and my aunt asked the waiter for a plastic bag. I thought it was for the food that we were not able to finish, she smiled and told me she already told the waiter to have the unfinished foodies wrapped for take out. So I asked her what the plastic is for. She smiled again and told me that it is for the doggie's foodies. I smiled back.. and nodded my head.. yeah, the doggie's share.. lol...

Blame It On The Rain

When we moved here at the orange house, the ceiling at what used to be the music room (old set up by the house owner), has already been damaged. Totally damaged! It has something to do with the roof. The former tenants had made it worsen because they did not do anything about it. Well, they even left me with two months water and electric bills that I needed to pay for fear that they will be disconnected and we, as the new tenants, will be the ones to suffer. Hmm, I will perhaps blog about that some other time... Anyway, about the roof, I had it fixed. I couldn't help but worry about what a damaged ceiling from a damaged roof can do. Not to mention that most of the things here at the orange house are electronic and operate in electricity. So imagine if there is leak and the leak may point at a gadget or two... That will definitely be a disaster. The roofer that worked on the roof was telling me that I should check on the roof during the rainy season, and if there is leak during rainy days, I should inform him or his assistant for a back job. Many rainy days and nights later, I found out that there is indeed a portion that leaks. Unfortunately, the roofer and the assistant are unreachable now. I am not a happy client. They are so different from a Miami Roofer that I read online. They are complete opposites. See, most of the clients of the latter, are happy about their great jobs... Affordable and quality rolled into one.. The roofer that I hired? Expensive and very bad!!! Ugh!

HULA HOOP ANYONE?

When I was Lili's age, as my mom recounts, I was so good at playing the hula hoop. So one time, when Micah was yet at the Kumon (She has Math at KUMON, while she has English with me-- that's my forte, Conversational English for all levels), I had a chance to buy hula hoops for me and Zarelle. Well, technically, I was not supposed to be at Golden Bell to buy the hoops. I was supposed to drop by Ninin's law office while I wait for Micah to arrive but when I was near, Ninin and his mom were on his car and they were about to drive off somewhere. His mom said they are coming back so I should wait at the office for it won't be much longer till they return. I was in front of Golden Bell then so I just went inside before going to Ninin's office. And there, at the toy section I found the hoops. Immediately I bought two. I have been looking for hoops of this kind. Just like the one I had when I was Lili's age. And today, Lili and Bisa are playing the hoops... I just love looking at my little girl learn new things... and she's a fast learner... just like mommy... wink.. wink.. Would you like to try it too?

Thanks Mommy Phoebie of Love's Haven, for being the first to comment...

SHE WANTS A NEW FLOOR

My friend Marie, after the flash flood in CDO hit their home, have not been able to fix their flooring. Yeah, they cleaned the floor but the woodtiles are totally damaged. Hmmm. I wish she can benefit from the best services of Chicago Flooring, that would surely solve her problem. I know how bad it would feel to live in a house with damaged flooring. Not to mention the molds and mildew that has formed after it was submerged in water for quite a while. I know that no matter how much washing, the floor wont be the same as before it was damaged by the flood waters. See, we have relatives who have had the same experience. The floor is equally important as the roof of the house. Thus, we really need to take care of it also. If our floors are damaged, we should change them. Otherwise, it would be like walking on dirt and mud, no matter how much you try to clean them.

SOMEBODY...

I just love this song. This has been my favorite since high school... Depeche Mode has really been our favorite when this song came out. Very unlike of them to have a very slow love song at that. But we did, my classmates and I, enjoyed this very song. So here it is, the lyrics of "Somebody"

Somebody lyrics

I want somebody to share
Share the rest of my life
Share my innermost thoughts
Know my intimate details
Someone who'll stand by my side
And give me support
And in return
She'll get my support
She will listen to me
When I want to speak
About the world we live in
And life in general
Though my views may be wrong
They may even be perverted
She'll hear me out
And won't easily be converted
To my way of thinking
In fact she'll often disagree
But at the end of it all
She will understand me

I want somebody who cares
For me passionately
With every thought and with every breath
Someone who'll help me see things
In a different light
All the things I detest
I will almost like
I don't want to be tied
To anyone's strings
I'm carefully trying to steer clear
Of those things
But when I'm asleep
I want somebody
Who will put their arms around me
And kiss me tenderly
Though things like this
Make me sick
In a case like this
I'll get away with it.

SPAIN IN THE EYES OF CHASE: PART 1

My former student is now living in Spain for almost two years now. I chanced upon him on chat today and I am so happy that he is happy with his life. Well, who wouldn't? If you live in one of the grandest places on earth, you should. He said that every chance he gets, he explores Barcelona, and with such explorations, have found many more Filipinos in Spain. Gosh. We Filipinos really are survivors. We thrive almost anymore. We are able to adapt and live the life of the environment we live in. So anyway, I asked him about his life in Spain and he told me so many positive stories. I think the only not-so-good tale is the cost of living in Spain, which is quite high. But, culture wise, you will get your heart's desire in terms of beautiful places to visit, sites to see, heritage centers to go to and many others. So for you to be able to roam the city or the country, it is best to have your own car to do your rounds. Chase said that if one wants to see the sights, he or she will need a car. If you are in the Costa del Sol area, you will need car hire costa del sol to go around. There is also another way. It's cheaper and more affordable compared to other car hires. It has long been proven that car hire spain is more convenient for travelling within the region. What I specifically like is the fact that you can pick up your car at your starting point, then leave it in another city or country. Amazing isn't it?

Chase and I are not yet done chatting. We'll chat again about the wonderful places in Spain...

GHOST OR NOT?

Can you tell me what is that white thing on this pic? Some friends said it's a ghost having a photo shoot with Lili... But that's no ghost! That's Bisa Saldo, our house help... lol... She graduated from the Reflexology Workshop and enjoyed time posing with Lili and some classmates...

How did her image turn ghostlike? Do you know?

Well, my theory is that she moved so fast that's why it is what was captured by the cam...

Halloween Express is READY FOR HALLOWEEN...

I can't believe it. My gay friend, Gregory(Gregoria, lol...), sent me a slide show of pictures of him in different Halloween costumes. He said he got them from Halloween Express within Ventura County, California. Well, that's where he lived for almost a decade now. Oops! I didn't quite spill your age there, did I? lol... Anyway, I was really wondering why as early as now he is already preparing for the Halloween. When he was here, he would dress up often even in a simple gathering. And when he would join Miss Gay contests, he would usually win over the other contestants because of the fascinating costumes he has prepared to wear. So it is confirmed, he is preparing himself for the coming Halloween contests. He said he can get the costumes cheaper this season compared to the actual date. Yeah, that is really a wise decision. He said he has been shopping at Halloween Express because of the trendy lines of costumes that are quite unique. Plus, there are outfits for anyone, including pets... Yippee... From slim to plus size ladies and gents, kids and adults alike can avail of the summer offerings. Halloween Express have other branches aside from that at the Ventura County. They are located at Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley.

Well, if you guys wanna join my friend in his shopping spree, do visit the website at www.halloweenexpress.com and get to know the latest finds...

By the way, Gregory has been insistent on inviting me to go and visit him. And with all the great things he has said about Ventura County, I sure would love to go... then I shall be able to witness his glorious reign again... Go GREGORY....

THE HAIR CUT...

My sister Sweet always teased me that I am just making Zarelle my Guinea pig while I practice on my cosmetology skills. Well, that is partly true. But the reason why I had to cut her hair personally is because it saves me a lot of money. I did mention that in a previous post about this new haircut, right?

I mean, I have the skill, why not use it? I don't get paid for it since my customer is my own daughter, but the praise and satisfaction of a little girl [who seems to agree with everybody who said that she looks like Gretchen Barretto with her new hair] is something.

Now, as to the hair, you be the judge if I did it right or not.

CAR TITLE LOANS

One of the things the sportsdad and I discussed earlier was about the Car Title Loans that one with a car is able to get. We were discussing how to earn extra now that we are facing a financial need as the new school year is about to start. Who gave him an idea? Well he has friends who did just that. Had their cars on loan with only their car titles as guarantee. No hassle, no problems, no extra strains... Tim, his friend in the US told him also about Car Title Loans Hayward and Car Title Loans Sacramento. Which are both very helpful.
That just makes loans very easy to get and easy to pay up.

HEALTHY MORNING

I had orange juice this morning. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Squeezed by my bare hands...

Well, I do not have a juicer here at the orange house so I had to improvise. One orange is all I needed anyway. After squeezing right into the glass, I took the liberty of drinking a cold orange juice. yum..yum.. Cold because the orange came right from the fridge. No sugar, no ice. All natural... Wowowee...

Anyway, I am looking forward to having a glass OF ALL NATURAL ORANGE JUICE everyday. I felt better after having just a glass. My daughter would have loved it too but she is at the yellow house. She does not eat much fruits, but she likes drinking juice.

Cars, Cars, Cars

Hanson loved the BMW videos that we saw online. He also loved the Jaguar videosas well as the Honda videos. My friend can't seem to live without seeing a car or driving one, lol..

No wonder women flock over him because they simply could not resist him with his cars. The hot red Honda is what he likes to use to cruise around town these days, but the yellow racer always gives him the kick.

Hanson is even planning to buy a new one. Orange and screaming gorgeous for the girls.. hahaha

ME AND MARYJEAN... AFTER ALL THESE YEARS...

I was looking at the pictures from the recent graduation of Reflexology, Nursing and Caregiving Workshops of the Lady of Fatima Foundation Clinic, and I saw this picture of me and Mary Jean. My groupmate, classmate (...and drinking buddy during group studies in college, shhh... don't tell my mom... ) and barkada (peer)...

Our smiles are still the same... We may have aged a bit, but that is a reality for all, but looking at our smile, I could definitely say that me and my friend have triumphed over the obstacles of each of our lives.

Oh, and we're still pretty...the two of us... Hahaha...
