Training The Working Scholar

My sister has been monitoring our working scholar like she is her own daughter. She is actually the one training her for every task in the house. She is quite slow, but I am glad my sister is patient with her. Sometimes she misses a few things, like where to place the kitchen anti fatigue mats, or the aprons or the clothes pins, and all others. She didn't know how to cook anything when she first arrived, but now, thanks to my sister, she can already cook some dishes that she has become proud of.

My sister always teaches her how to be able to learn and accept learning as it is a tool for her growth. The good thing about our working scholar is that she listens and she is willing to be trained. Of course, we always emphasized the 3 Cs in Life. Choices, Chances and Changes-- and she is even more inspired to move forward in her life.
